The mounts do fit after you snap the mount plate off of them
I'm editing this review. Initially, I had posted that the suction cup mount does not fit in the case. Since then, I have come to realize that by snapping the GPS mount plate off of the suction cup mount arm, it will fit. The same goes for the dashboard friction mount. It is a little tricky, but I have posted photos of how it is done. I'm still giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is a bit of a struggle to fit the mounts in with the GPS and cords.Note that the "GPS mount plate" is the plate that fits into the back of the GPS and adapts it to the various mounts. It snaps onto the ball of the various mount arms and can be easily snapped off and placed on another type of mount. The GPS mount plate comes with your GPS, not with the mount (although you may get a mount with the GPS).Suction Cup Window Mount:Snap the GPS mount plate off of the suction cup arm and place it in the upper net compartment with the cords. Then, either place the suction cup base in the net or lay it on top of the flap that separates the two compartments. Make sure that either way, the wide part of the suction cup base is placed parallel with the front lip of the case, so that when it is closed, it will nestle between the front of the case and the GPS unit.Dashboard Friction Mount:By removing the arm from the friction base and the GPS mount plate from the arm (and putting them in the upper compartment), and then placing the friction base on top of the GPS, folding the four flaps of the friction base upwards, I am able to force the case closed and zip it.I would still rather have a slightly larger case that can accommodate the windshield suction cup mount OR the friction mount without having to exert quite as much force to close the case.

Helps me get the most out of my GPS
I get better traffic receiver reception with my GPS mounted in this and on the dash than I did with it on my lap, or passenger seat. The GPS is also a lot easier to see. It's almost as good as a heads-up-display (HUD), and a lot less expensive. It's heavy, and steady. It rocks some on rough roads, but stays in place for the most part. My wife says the bottom is squishy. I use it with a 5" Nuvii 2597 GPS, and the jaws open just wide enough to insert it. I took it in my carry on luggage for a trip over Memorial Day weekend. It was OK going out of SFO, but the screener didn't recognize it in the Oklahoma City airport X-Ray machine, so they opened up the baggage to look at it. Fortunately, another screener recognized it as a GPS Holder.A small nit is it's glossy black, so if I don't have a GPS mounted, and the sun is in front of me, I get glare in my eyes. It's easy to solve that problem - either put the GPS in it, or take it off the dash.

Hard Case for Garmin
Basically, the case does the job of protecting the GPS and storing the accessories. It is rather large which makes it difficult to put in the center console or glove box. It has a curved pocket that cradles the GPS well. This takes up half the case. The other side is a mesh pocket that holds the mount and the power cord. It is a tight fit when those items are stored there and makes the case a bit difficult to close. Since the Garmin unit is quite thin, if it could be done without reducing the protection,I would think that making that cradle side thinner would reduce the overall size of the case and make it more compact and easier to store.

Nice case, Except For One Thing
Everything fits, except for Garmin's bulky suction cup base. The image of the hard case shows a suction cup base neatly tucked into the accessories compartment, but Garmin's suction cup is too large for the case. Otherwise, the case is well-made and I managed to get the suction cup into the case by slipping the edge of the suction cup into a narrow gap between the padding and the hard shell. This barely allows zipping the case closed with the suction cup inside - definitely a two-handed operation.

The best brand for the job
This is very nice. I used it a couple of weeks ago and just loved it. The case helps a lot. The one I had before did not have a case so, when I had to leave the car I always had to hide the gps. I didn't want anyone to breakin my car to steal it. This case just looks like a makeup case so, you don't have to hide it. Everything fits nicely inside. Of course this brand speaks for itself. This is the second one of this brand I have owned my daughter got the other one. lol Yes I would recommend this one. It does just what is it designed to do.

Almost perfect
It is very helpful, I am able to keep almost all of my GPS gear all together. It is handy for packing for travel. Except I cannot get mounting into the case, so I have store it separately and I have on occassion forgotten the mount when packing in a hurry. Although, I would not like it to be much larger, perhaps just a little longer, without making the divider any longer, this would allow the mount can be inserted at one end, the height being accommodated in both compartments.

Charger City GPS hard case
got this along with their GPS CD mount which I love also. As some of the other reviewers said the Garmin window mount does not fit in this case. But the Charger City CD mount does. you just have to take the screw that comes with the mount off and put it back on when in use. I got both of these for my Garmin 2598 LMTHD from Costco. Unfortunately, the Garmin unit didn't survive my initial test so I returned it. But of of these items were real quality products, made to last. Keeping them for my next good 5" GPS find.

It does what we need it to do
It does what we need it to do. It stores most of the accessories easily. I have found the comments about it not being able to store the suction holder (with the ball) to be true. One of the problems I have with it is that there is no way to strap the GPS in and the divider is not secure either so if you open it up while holding it (rather than a flat surface), the GPS could pop out and fall.

Perfect.
This case is perfect for my Garmin 2559 5" GPS. With the tray removed (it lifts out) there is lots of room for the GPS (in a soft sleeve), the 12 volt power cable/charger, the data cable and the suction cup and mount assembly. There is room left over for a wall charger such as the large ipad wall charger. With the suction cup against the top of the case, opposite the hinge, when the case is closed it will extend into the space between the GPS and the case. Not shown in the photos, there are two elastic straps to hold the GPS in place. I wanted this case for when I am travelling with a rental car. I also purchased the Garmin 010-11793-00 Universal 5-Inch Soft Carrying Case for use in my own car, when I would leave the accessories in the car.

MULTI COMPARTMENT CASE
THE CASE IS STURDY ENOUGH BUT THE PORTION OF THE CASE WHERE THE GPS FITS IN HAS THIS CRADLE THAT TAKES UP TOO MUCH ROOM AND SHOULD BE LOWER FOR THE GPS TO DROP INTO AND NOT JUST SIT ON THE TOP. THE GPS SIT ON TOP AND IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, CAN SLIDE OUT OF THE CASE. IF THAT PORTION OF THE CASE WAS DESIGNED BETTER, THERE WOULD BE ROOM FOR THE SUCTION CUP MOUNT TO FIT IN THE CASE. AS IT IS DESIGNED RIGHT NOW, THE SUCTION CUP MOUNT CAN NOT BE STORED IN THE CASE.

Geat Product
This is perfect for protecting a 5 inch Garmin GPS.I must admit that I was skeptical at first and it took some experimenting to fit the entire mounting kit and power cord into the case. However, after a few tries it worked and now by habit it all fits in quickly every time.I would recommend that anyone who uses a GPS and wants to store it out of site when parking their vehicle to consider this case.

great buy
a little bulky but has to be to fit everything -- I was hesitant because of an earlier review that said the bottom part was too shallow - they seem to have listened because there's now a perfect little depression to hold the unit and elastic bands on top for better security. Just what I needed
