This parasitology fanatic loves it!
I love this book! It helps me brush up on my parasitology knowledge. There are even parasites in here I haven't heard about which is a plus! I love how it is organized into sections such as cat parasites, horse parasites, etc. I also love how it goes over different ways to prepare slides. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just interested in the field of parasitology or students that want more information/ study material on parasites.

Great if you know how to use it
Tab all the "Location" pages and write in page numbers for each listed parasite so that you can easily find the parasites. My professor's let us use this for the lab exams, so we became really familiar with this book. It's a good reference. Some of the drug protocols are outdated (these things change often), so scratch them out and add the correct ones where needed.

I used this for my parasitology class and it helped me a lot to learn parasite names. Some of the names didn’t match but I made adjustments to it to help me learn it

Awesome reference manual
This book is worth it's weight in gold. First thing I learned from the book when doing farm animal fecal exams is to have the proper fecal solution. Without the proper solution your results are not accurate. After reading this information I then purchased the proper solution and got accurate results.

Very helpful but doesn't include chickens.
This book is very helpful. It covers many different animals. I just wished it covered chickens which is the reason I ordered it. It still was very helpful though.
