Absolutely Brilliant
Due to not needing to drive frequently these days my car is idle a lot more, over the past 12 months I’ve had 3 flat battery issues. First time, RAC replaced it, second time they came out again and charged it, explaining the problem, it’s not getting any charge from lack of use. They also advised that I would be charged if I called them out again for this issue.Third time of a non starter on Monday, I looked for a smart battery charger and after reading the positive reviews bought this. It’s fabulous! Instruction manual would be helpful as the QR code on the included leaflet takes you to a broken link. However, it’s not rocket science to figure it out.My battery was completely flat. In under 3 hours the charger had done its thing and was showing on the display screen it was fully charged. No faffing whatsoever, easy to use with a simple interface, compact to store and does the job it’s intended for, quickly.

Well built reliable unit with absolutely flat battery function.
I store cars and also fit maintenance chargers to clients vehicles. After lots of faulty Ctek ones letting batteries go flat, I started to use NOCO. They have not caused me any problems in the past 3 years.Genius 5 amp is my go-to for newer vehicles. Older vehicles ( No electronics / computers etc ) the fixed 2amp one works well. Can be mounted in the engine bay and is waterproof etc. and works out great value.Leave them charging constantly.

Worked great with a little help from the NOCO folks
Bought to charge a Transit (AGM) battery. This device charged my battery to full and then proceeded to ‘condition’ it a day later. Brilliant device.I had to ask for some help from NOCO, which was just my lack of knowledge about flat batteries and big batteries. On first connection it correctly showed one red bar - slowly pulsing. After 5 hours the charger block gets hot and absolutely nothing changes. That seeemd odd as I thought it was a few hours was needed. If a battery is properly flat and possibly sulfated it needs a lot longer. I just had to be patient and let it do its work … eventually it jumped to pulsing greenThen it is worthwhile keeping it plugged in for a day (or so it later) so it can further balance the battery (which is when all the other lights go out and it’s just a green symbol). For big batteries this takes a while. Glad I got this 5A one.And thanks to NOCO customer service for the advice

Take charge of your battery...
This is one of those items that once you have it you wonder why you didn't buy it sooner. Particularly when I needed to call out roadside assistance during a period of cold weather this Winter as there was a battery issue with our hybrid car. Fortunately it was nothing major and didn't take long for the technician to get it going again, but we chatted and he suggested getting a charger as a preventative measure. Mainly as the battery on many hybrid cars will lose it's charge if they don't do sufficient miles or when parked for a long length of time. Several options were mention, this being one of them. It certainly does the top up, charging and other recovery jobs very effectively and came highly recommended, also at an affordable price. Functionality is very straight forward although there isn't a hand book or other instructions in the packaging which is possibly the only negative I will mention. Other than that it's fairly intuitive, compact and didn't get hot during use. Well worth putting among a list of potential buys if you are looking for such a device.

Brilliant quality charger- and I’m buying more, because….
Exceeds all expectations. Best charger I’ve ever owned. I’m so impressed I’m now myself another (as mysteriously my son has somehow taken this one for his own garage, as it’s that good!). …..UPDATE; May 25; Just bought that additional unit and feel good knowing I’ve now got one for myself and already used it. The consistent high quality means I’ll definitely never use another brand of charger. I trust this brand 100% to look after my valuable batteries, including keeping my car battery optimal of course.

If you are looking for a well made and easy to use car battery charger - this is it!
I bought this NOCO battery charger to replace an ageing battery charger, and I needed a charger that would be suitable for the newer AGM/ Stop start batteries.Initially I had been given advice to purchase a well known competitor to the NOCO, but as I already own, and highly rate the NOCO jump starter/booster pack, I decided that I would stick with the brand. From the moment you open the box, it's clear to see that NOCO take time and effort to design and manufacture their products. The products are so well made, which make it a refreshing change from all of the usual cheaply produced rubbish that you see.The charger is a sturdy bit of kit and feels it. The battery lead come in two pieces - which is a brilliant idea. It makes it so much easier to attach the battery clamps to the battery, without worrying about the charger banging around behind. Especially as is often the case these days, the batteries can often be buried in the car somewhere. Talking of the battery clamps, they are a perfect size, not too big or too small, and the clamping pressure is spot on.The other advantage of the lead being in two is that you could permanently attach the clamp end to your battery terminals (obviously using the ring terminals instead of the clamps) and then leave the lead permanently attached to the car. It's simply a case then of attaching the other end (with the charger attached) to the lead - perfect if you want to regularly top up your battery. The end you leave on the car has a well made cover that simply attaches over the end and keeps it clean and dry, and the connection between the two leads is well constructed. On to the charger. It's so easy to use. Connect it all up to the battery and turn the mains on. The charger instantly goes on to standby, something that most battery chargers don't do, and I for one think it's an excellent safety feature. Simply press the button to select your battery type and leave it to do its job - it's that simple. The led's are nice and bright and show clearly the charging process of the battery. This is an excellent product and there are many reviews online for you to view before taking my word for it.Well done NOCO, another excellent product!
