Just used briefly but enjoy the feel so far. Quality seems great, and the Amazon warehouse deal made it an exceptional value. The one thing i could live without is those last 3 or four missing eyelets(can’t remember what it’s called). On other boots I’ve owned, i hate them because boot laces seem to loosen and unlatch when walking, so not a fan of them, however don’t know if these will be like that. Leather seems good, the flute like where welt meets sole seems a bit, well, not sealed? But i don’t know if that matters. Don’t usually plunge my boots into water but do walk in rain. For the price and for the light service they will see,i can’t imagine it will matter. Love the retro sort of style.update* Has then on for a full day this week walking about, just roadways, too much snow for off road. Haven’t worn anything more comfy. EVER. These will be my go to for this year (except for more than casual dress). Don’t care if it’sa hiking boot I’m wearing them everywhere. I got the 2 ee size and did not upsize the length at all, and with normal stocks the fit is perfect. I used Obenaufs oil on the boots which darkened them a bit, but still a very pleasing colour to me, and it made the leather feel different, better, right away. Only thing was i used said product on some black boots i had first, and some black dye transferred from the bottle/applicator to my new boots. Fortunately most of the black smudge was to high on the boot, ,a mistake i won’t make again!

I absolutely love my boots!From day one they were comfortable and no need to break in. I have short wide feet and the toe box is roomy enough for me to layer up socks in the winter. I got the danner waterproof sealant to put on them and have worked all 4 seasons and walked in standing water, rain, snow, and my socks and feet stayed completely dry.100% quality craftsmanship and more flexible than any other boot for hiking and climbing. Easy to clean, I just wipe with a damp cloth.I can't rave enough about these boots!!I've had them a year and a half now and I wear them all the time. They don't keep your feet so warm in the winter, but with some nice thick socks, you won't even notice.If you're considering these boots then buy them!!I use them for hiking and work and I'm glad I got them and I won't buy any other from now on!

These boots are outstanding for so many reason probably starting with the fit and comfort. Wearing other hiking boots sometimes I would get hotspots after a few hours. With these Danner Mountain 600's my feet feel great and less fatigued. Great traction on rock, gravel, and brush. When scrambling over jagged rocks they provide solid footing and protection and hold up great. They provide good ankle support especially for the needs of day hiking. When I go on 5-6 hour hikes I have 100% confidence that they'll hold up under any conditions. I have two pairs (one insulated for winter/snow conditions which I've worn with snow shoes). Plus, they look great especially when they get a few miles on them. In my opinion, a great hike starts with boots you love and count on. For me, it's these Danners.

Great fit, well cushioned, easy lacing, and good ankle support. The leather could be more durable and the sole/midsole/footbed is a little high off the ground for me which feels a little unstable but overall the best hiking boot I've worn so far.

I typically wear a 9.5 US sizing. I read where others suggested ordering down 1 full size. Half sizes were not available, so I ordered a 9 US.They fit great out of the box with the arch support in perfect position. Use different lacing patterns to relieve any top pressure and to lock down your heel, especially when doing extended down hill sections---proper technique for ALL boots.These are not supportive enough for off trail ankle-eating terrain, nor if you have to do a great deal of hiking on boulder/rock fields...the lack of a shank in the sole will eventually make the balls of your feet ache from the pounding...especially if you are trying to haul any load above 25lbs for long hikes. That said, the boots are exceptionally comfortable in a variety of conditions with the exceptions of extreme heat or extreme cold."WaterProof" boots are a mixed bag. They work great for walking long periods in wet grass or shallow water or light muck. But if you get them soaked on the inside on a stream crossing or your feet really sweat a lot, be prepared to have your boots STAY wet. WaterProof (Gore-Tex, etc.)never breathes as much as it blocks moisture...so that 'benefit' works both ways. Great day hike and light scramble boot with more protection than low models. Great for wearing about town. I wear them all day when on my feet and riding my bike to and from work...comfortable all day.

I've been wearing these now for two weeks at work. As a maintenance technician I am on my feet most of the day. Up and down stairs and ladders constantly. I have been quite surprised. I am aware of Danner's solid reputation from many years of outdoor activities and these boots live up to that reputation. Comfortable. Light. Feel solid. Great laces from the factory. I wear a 13 and these 13's fit perfectly. Would highly recommend. Will post again if I encounter any issues.*one year review*So all on all I would purchase again. For the most part still very comfortable. After a year of daily use they still hold up. Still water resistant. No blow outs or stitching issues at all. Only issue is last few months the heel on the left foot feels weak. Any small stone I walk on pokes my heal, sometimes with pain. Even if I replaced today I would order again. Usually low end work boots last about a year for me anyways and these still have more millage in them. Would still recommend.

Botte très confortable. Convient à de la randonnée moyenne. Manque un peu de support à la cheville pour porter de lourdes charges en terrain accidenté.

Easy break in, super comfy and supportive.

J'avais déja des Danner Mountain Gore-Tex depuis 25 ans, mais celle-ci sont plus souples, plus légères, plus versatiles et plus confortables. Ne me reste plus qu'à trouver les bonnes collines.

Disappointed that they fit smaller than expected.

I am very impressed with these shoes, they are 13 wide and they actually fit my big Dutch feet! Very comfortable, light in weight, and waterproof. They are expensive but worth it!
