Must have accessory for all VAG group vehicle owners
I had heard really good things about the OBDeleven, so decided to finally bite the bullet and get one ordered. I managed to enable quite a few 'hidden features' on my Audi A4 which was great. Things like beep on unlock, needle sweep etc. I could even use it to disable and enable the electric parking brake when changing my brake discs and pads, something which would have only been achievable by a more expensive diagnostic toolI also used this on a number of my friends cars, and I believe you can have an unlimited number of vehicles associated with it.As well as the coding features, it works really well as a fault code reader and helps diagnose any potential issues. I managed to find that my friends car had a mass air flow issue, which would have been quite expensive to have been diagnosed at a main dealer and obviously this is much more convenient than having to go to a mechanic to find the issue.OBDeleven also has a very extensive online forum which has alot of great suggestions and help articles if you face any issues, and alot of the Audi / VW forums also have alot of information and detail on things you can enable or activate on your vehicle. The Next Generation model also allows iOS devices as well as Android, which was a big issue in my opinion with the first model. One slight disappointment is that each modification requires credits, and you only get a certain number of credits for free, and then up to 5 free per day for watching ads. I don't personally agree that a device with this cost should then require credits to use... just an annoying gripe.Overall, incredibly happy with this and will recommend one to every single person who owns a newer, VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Lamborghini or Bentley.

Best purchase ever.
This truly is a game changer. Used on my vw golf R mk7.5 all worked as expected. Although u can but credits to use it u can easily use other menus to do most things for free. I purchased 100 credits and more than enough to change the car set up more to my liking. I now totally love my car....Sorry wife.

Con
Honestly I see this as a total con. It's just a basic bidirectional OBD reader but they've put all the useful functions behind a paywall and some pretty graphics. You need to pay a hefty subscription fee or buy overpriced credits to actually do anything with it. I bought this version because they boast of the 12-month "Pro VAG plan" but that's just another con - more stuff hidden behind a paywall. I assumed all the adaptations would be included with this plan but they're not.The real kicker is it doesn't even cost the company anything when you use it. All the changes are being done locally between the device and your car. You can achieve exactly the same results with ANY bidirectional OBD reader if you know which buttons to press. They are just ripping people off by charging for knowledge which is freely available.

Worked very well for me
I purchased this obdeleven pro pack to assist with fitting a new fuel injector to my van. I found it quite time consuming to find relevent information on the obd eleven forum about how to do this. Others had asked similar questions but there was not always an answer attached to the post. There is also currently very little information on youtube about this particular system (someone is missing a trick). Eventually I decided to connect the Obdeleven to my vehicle with the app on an android phone (with a data connection) and have a go. I was pleasantly suprised that it took very little time to connect and find the section that I required to change the injector code. I am pleased with this diagnostic tool as it has already paid for itself by completing this one task. It seems to give a very thorough scan for faults and grant full access to all systems which some other obd scanners cannot do. We have another VW in the family so it will no doubt be used again.

Better than I thought
Ike others I was dubious about this having read some reviews and being iPhone user, however, man am I glad I purchased one of these. Simple to set up, credits came with the dongle, simply plugged in and it worked straight away. I was able to add dynamic colours to my interior lights and displays, change the digital dash display, add the dots on the digital dash so it’s more like the 2022 display and few other bits. I haven’t even used the basic function yet but all of that cost me 30 credits well worth the money. I would thoroughly recommend this. I have a 2019 Golf GTI performance and it was perfect for this model. I assume that they have got over the apple issue because it worked perfectly on my iphone

Mixed bag - good but pricey!
Bit of a mixed bag this one…I purchased this primarily to enable me to do quick customisations on a new (to me) 2018 Audi S4. It was pretty unclear what’s included with this VAG specific model, I’d thought I would get a year’s worth of access to one-click apps but it’s sadly not the case and you need to purchase expensive credits or an even more expensive subscription to use them. What was great for me however (though I didn’t think I’d need them) was the ability to clear fault codes and reset service/inspection notices. This wasn’t the initial intention when purchasing this product, but it was a welcome feature to me.Out of principle, I haven’t purchased credits or a subscription as I just don’t think they’re worth the money due to the already feature-rich car I’ve just bought (lucky me) but the device itself works as you’d expect, is of good quality and if you’re willing to pay extra for the pleasure of one-click apps, go for it.I can honestly say that if there was more that I could personally achieve with the one-click apps, I’d probably have bought a subscription to their VAG Ultimate plan but others who aren’t so lucky as me would probably benefit from them a whole lot more. There are competitors to this out there and so my advice is to do your research into how much you actually need to spend before committing to purchasing any of them.Hope this helps!
