Press Menu and scroll to the Screen Lock setting. Press select and select Full Lock. Select a 4-digit pin and confirm. The panel is now locked. Don't forget the code.

Q: temperature reading accuracy Just rec'd stat & its indicating a temp of 79 degrees and i know house is 72. very few holes for airflow. issues?

Did you leave it time to stabilize? Mine seems to be fairly accurate compared to a reference thermometer.
