White Adjustable (4"-6.5") Vinyl Porch Post Trim Ring

I don't know what I was thinking buying this item. No matter how it's cut it still shows the change of elevation in the lines so it will never come close to matching anything else you have on your deck. I'm going to save it to place in the most obscure place I can when I inevitably break one shoveling snow. It's a lot of money for 4 little pieces of plastic.

Used 4 of this product to cover the ugly painted over (by me,of course) bases on our wooden posts.Very simple to use,comes with instructions,but basically you measure the OD of the existing post,and there is a notched guide inside where to cut.EZ Peezy,you will need either tin snips,or a small hand or power saw to make the necessary cuts (4 per post).Inside edges are rounded,so if your posts aren't,you may need to do some trimming,or as I did,caulk the top.

This is just the ticket if you have put clad pvc around an existing 4" X 4" post. The pieces snap together (after trimming) and look great. One word of caution however is to be very careful of your trim cuts. The pre-scribed cut lines may not work, so re-measurement is strongly recommended. Also, this product has rounded inside corners which may have to be cut to square if your pvc clad has square ourside corners. Bottom line is that this is a 5 star product less one star for necessary adjustments in the cutting and fitting process.

Such a quality piece part and we'll worth the money $! Don't ever buy the cheap ones these are so slick!

Just what we wanted and easy to install

Was easy to cut. In fact, I cut one piece two times to get it to fit and it was not tough to do. I used an outdoor seal to fill in the gaps between the post and the these trims. After it dried, it looks like to last many years.

Having a non broken ring as opposed to a broken one is always better but nothing is better than the original. You can tell these items are after market.
