Does exactly as it says. Very pleased.
My wife has rather poor eyesight and used this for making embrodered Christmas cards and other detailed handicraft activities. It does the job perfectly. Magnification is great, no blurring or edge distortion, suggests the lens is good quality. The light is bright although adjusting intensity by keeping finger on the switch isnt easy to control accurately but its not an issue for us.Looks good, strong gooseneck allows almost infinite positioning and enough room to place work under and use both hands. Heavy base prevents any annoying movement across the work surface and in tandem with the very strong gooseneck allows the magnifying head to remain steady. Well packed and protected in custom box for shipping.

Neat lamp does not take up much space 0n my Desk arrived follwing day
Bright illumination & dimmable easy to assemble sturdy base does not appear to topple over, Good Magnification for tying small fishing flies. Supplied with 2 usb cables one 3 pin uk style & one 2 pin Shaver type .My only niggle is I need to raise the lamp up off my desk to get my fly tying vice under the lamp but this is a minor problem extremely good value for money & Led's cheap to run 50000 hrs will see me out.

Lacks the brightness
I like the flexibility of the stand but even with a weighted base the lamp can topple. It is easy to switch on. There are two lamp brightness settings. But hit or miss in getting the desired brightness. Interestingly the lamp has a habit of dropping from full brightness without me touching the switch, which I do find irritating.
