Cute trees
I loved them but they were a little sparse. I’m glad I bought them though.

Beautiful Set
Great set of trees and perfect for our front porch. I wanted a rustic and natural feel, and these trees fit wonderfully. The log trunk gives the trees a realistic natural look. Each tree is slim, and will work well by itself or grouped together. Even grouped together, it does not take up as much room as a traditional Christmas tree. The metal bases are actually pretty sturdy by itself. I am putting the large one in a sand filled galvanized bucket, and wrapping the smaller ones in burlap to further create our rustic style. A pretty tree skirt can easily cover the base. I actually like the fact that the stems do not drape the ground and starts a little further up to mimic an alpine.I originally ordered the clear lit trees fulfilled by LightBulbs.com, but received a message from LightBulbs.com for me to cancel my order because they were short on stock. I waited over a week since I felt that LightBulbs.com was trying to get folks to cancel the orders on their own, but LightBulbs.com would never indicate shipping. When I ordered the lit trees, LightBulbs.com showed it was available, so I expected to receive the product. With LightBulbs.com delay, I was concerned that I would not receive it, so I did finally cancel and ordered the unlit set fulfilled by Amazon, which was shipped promptly with Prime. Love the product, but would not recommend LightBulbs.com if they are the seller.

Would be beautiful outside.
Pretty. Very rustic. Better viewed from a distance. I returned because thoght they'd be more appropriate for a porch.

Not complaining!
I could not wait to get in here to review these! I hesitated and hesitated on buying after reading so many reviews and most of them weren’t the greatest but I took the chance and I am glad I did! I got the 2’, 3’, and 4’ set. The reason I bought these is to use for porch decor and they are perfect and exactly what I wanted! I probably wouldn’t use them in my house- they are too “mangey” looking. They seem sturdy but will need to be anchored down because they are very light and the wind will take them like nothing- which I had full intentions on anchoring anyway so that isn’t an issue. If you were using them for inside decor, you wouldn’t have a problem. I will say that I wish that the 4’ one has more branches further down the trunk but either way, they are going to work for me! I got the unlit set because I have my own lights to put on them. I am extremely happy with them! Will post a picture once I get them decorated!

Cute trees, not like photo
These little trees are okay, they are good enough for our purposes, but they do not come to a nice tapered point at the top like the sample photo. They just end blunted which is not the Alpine look I was hoping for. Quality control is lacking but for the price I will keep them.

Good enough
Deciding how many stars was difficult. I'm happy enough with these trees (I have the 4, 5, and 6 foot set, which I see is no longer offered, at least not at this time) but considering what I paid for them, the quality really should be way better. Mine are unlit, alpine style, nothing fancy, which is what I wanted. I expected the top part to be weird because all these types are like that... how the trunk suddenly stops and then the wire top just sort of sticks in there and looks stupid. But again, all the trees of this style are like that, you just cover it up and pretend it's better. But what I didn't expect was globs and strings of dried glue. I also didn't expect the smallest tree to have a big fat trunk while the two taller ones had skinny trunks. It looks silly when they're next to each other. And one of the bases arrived completely bent and unusable... but it was able to be bent back (carefully). All that being said, they do look nice with simple decorations and placed as a group together or around the house separately. They work well for small spaces and are fine for my style of decorating (woodsy, basic, nothing flashy or fancy). It takes some work and some imagination to make them look real but I don't mind that. I would repurchase but honestly only because they're the best I've found in this price range so far. I don't have any loyalties to vickerman.

Bring the outdoors in!
Bought these trees with a bit of apprehension but boy, I am so glad I purchased this set! I set them up and created a winter wonderland scheme and have received so many compliments! The trees are easy to assemble but buyer beware, the trunk can crack through if you are too rough with them (there are 2 deep splits in the trunks) . I don't think they will be as easy to take apart (I could be wrong but I don't want to take any chances) so I plan on storing them assembled, of course, we will tuck away the branches. Once set up, you will fall in love with them and they can be used throughout the year--camping /outdoorsy themes and such.

Not overly impressed
I was not overly impressed with this set of three trees. The holes that were precut into the trunks are crooked and when you put them on the stand, they want to tip over. They were easy to assemble but the quality isn't there like most items these days. I have ordered trees from vickerman in the past and the national tree company and I would say the national tree company wins as far as quality and craftsmanship. My smaller 4-foot tree was in the worst condition. Also, the branches only went half way and not two-thirds of the way down the trunk like they show in the pictures, so it looks kind of stupid. Overall I am disappointed.

Solid B
They weren’t perfect but do the job. Had to drill out the hole a little more to get them together. They require a lot of tweaking out of the box but I think it will be better next season.
