I loved this informative book! I downloaded this book to my iPad and phone. It was easy to read and easy to move from section to section using the table of contents. It provided valuable information including recommended apps many of which I downloaded. I was easily able to share information with my husband by showing him a short section to read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is visiting Paris for the first time.

Nicely organized, concise, and useful for making decisions.

I’ve been to Paris and am in the midst of meticulous planning and research for a trip in a month. I wasn’t sure if this book would offer much new but the price was right. I was pleasantly surprised by the tips and destinations I was able to get that I haven’t come across before. There were even fresh insights on things i was already aware of. A couple recommendations were out of date but that is to be expected.

I enjoyed this book - spent half the time sending myself links to places he mentioned before moving on to the next chapter. I do think it helps to be familiar with Paris already since some of the inside info is only useful if you know how to get around and how to avoid some of the tourist trap environments. Even so, I really like his style and found the majority of the chapters really intriguing.

I thought I would just take notes on the most useful suggestions in the book. Then I decided I would need to take some of the pages with me. Now I can see that I need to take the whole book, because it is so full of good ideas. Haven't left for Paris yet, but this book is definitely coming with me!

Helped navigate Paris with a short read.

There are much better Paris guides than this one. A few decent tips but doesn’t rise above the quality of your average travel blogposts.

Excellent book to start your first visit in Paris. Gives you all the basics you need to know. With the just then acquired foundation look at the more traditional tourism books.
