This product is amazing! Highly recommended.
I am really pleased with this purchase. It is a fantastic idea for many reasons. In my case, I'd bought a Taylor GS Mini guitar to use as my couch guitar. Unfortunately, the edges of the guitar body come together at a sharp right angle, which really hurt my right arm as I played. (When shopping for it, I noticed that quite a few acoustic guitars are made that way now.) I was ready to return the guitar, which I really didn’t want to do. I did some googling to see if there was anything out there to solve this problem for me. I saw things you could stick to the guitar such as wood armrests, but that seemed a bit extreme, since I read they could be difficult to remove if you changed your mind. Then I read about this product and saw the potential and figured why not try it before I returned the guitar?Great news--it totally solved the problem, the guitar is super comfortable to play now and I can enjoy it without pain. I am so happy! It totally relieved the pressure on my forearm from that sharp edge and now I don't have those deep indentations from the edge either. I use it without the suction cups since I'm just sitting and the SAB doesn't move around at all. It's nice to have the with or without suction cup option--very well thought out. And it doesn't feel obtrusive either, just nice and cushioned. You forget it's there, which is nice.I purchased the small size, and it fits around the GS bout perfectly. I like to push mine back a bit from the way it's pictured since the guitar body is very small, and it seems to hug the curve of the lower bout regardless of where it is placed. I plan on buying a few more for my other guitars, since I've noticed recently that my forearm gets a bit sore after playing on all of my guitars.I am so grateful that Saddle-A-Bout exists and that the inventor realized there was a need and then solved the problem. Thank you so much!

Saddle that bout!
I’m sitting there thinking there has to be someone that makes something for the dents in my arm and cutting off circulation. Quick search and bam it’s on the way. At first I thought go blonde so it’s discreet. Then I thought no get the one that compliments the bridge and board. Glad I did. It’s like the first time you put your hand on a stick shift that is wrapped in leather. The comfort is amazing. I tested for strumming action, too. I recommend for guitar players there's no sliding.around, I can't wait to see as it breaks in over time. It's been a long time since I played this beast on stage but times coming soon. I start dreaming of other ways to adorn guitars with leather and hope to see more from this Pennsylvania company. This is the most important piece of musical gear I’ve bought in a long time because of the arm protection. I've played tours and know what humidity and heat and sweat is like, this will help with that for sure. I'd buy one that had 2.5 times the surface area if it were made. I love the accessorizing bit of it a lot. Maybe I'll contact them for a custom size. It feels so comfortable to play on. Take care!

Great product, well made and good looking!
I bought the Saddle-A-Bout to solve a very specific problem for myself. In warm weather, when wearing short sleeved shirts or T-shirts I was constantly fiddling with rags or napkins or other pieces of cloth so that my skin oils and perspiration wouldn't damage the finish on my guitars (I learned the hard way what that damage might be!) The Saddle-A-Bout definitely solved that problem and also made playing much more comfortable by padding the sharp edge of the guitar where my arm rests. I used to find a sharp indentation on my forearm after playing for awhile. No longer. Great product, I bought the Mahogany color in all three sizes for my various guitars. Five stars and both thumbs up!

It provides comfort and prevent pain and looks good.
Well, this product is good at what was designed to do. I suffer from tendonitis and I love to play guitar. The edges where the arm rest are not good on the muscles and tendons, etc. This product significantly help and provides comfort and prevention. It is not a cure, but it provides major relieve. You probably have to use it with the plastic things to keep it in place (sucktions cups?) But they do not alter the product function and they keep the product in place. This is a simple product and perhaps you can use something else in its place, but it looks good as well and provides some visual sofistication and detail that looks well in the guitar. The price is not outrageous, so I really recommend it. I do not think you will regret it.

This is the best armrest.
I play an average of 6 gigs a month, plus all the hours of practice/rehearsal, and I've had issues with my right hand going numb. I've been using Brand X armrest at 3 times the cost and I have found that the Saddle-A-Bout is far more comfortable and practical. Brand X is one of those ideas that "looks good on paper", but in practice turns out to be far less than optimal. The arm position over the guitar should not be modified for the sake of mitigating the sharp edge and/or bare-arm sweating issues. You will find that many or most of the armrests are made of plastic and are actually uncomfortable. Some do not allow the guitar to be placed in the case without first removing the armrest or making a painful case modification. The Saddle-A-Bout is a very simple, but effective solution that has a lovely, natural feel. The suction cups are positioned to be completely out of the way and the armrest is easily removed without any effect on the tough guitar finish. However, the guitar can be put easily in the case with the armrest in place.
