UPG24V 8A Convection Cooled Charger

Use with High Quality Surge Protector such as,  Tripp Lite 10 Outlet Eco-Surge Protector Tel/Modem/Coax/Ethernet 8ft Swivel Cord 6480 Joules (AV10IRG)  or a high powered, high quality UPS with Power Factor Correction also called Active PFC. Previous unit burnt out from storm, it wasn't protected from surges or electrical spikes or brown-outs.

Literally not what I ordered, wtf. Too large for travel. Only keeping because it technically works for my power chair and I am desparate for a replacement.Do. Not. Order a charger from Amazon unless in dire need. I will not trust amazon for this again.

So far, so good. Quiet, no fan, and seems to do the job better than the standard charger that came with the power chair. However, both cords are made of cheap recycled plastic material and are not very flexible, actually rather stiff. The cords could be of better quality. The quality of the materials in the charger itself seem OK.

I used this on a recent trip overseas that included a stop here in the US. I used this charger in both locations without the need for a voltage converter. The perfect solution for power wheelchair users who travel...

We have had this unit less than one year before it died completely. It was actively charging then the blue light came on like it wasn’t connected to the chair, then all lights went dark. Tried other power sources and no difference. Fortunately we had another spare charger to use to charge our cart.UPDATE: Seller quickly responded and sent a replacement.

Worked well for a few months, but recently stopped. Only had for less than 1 year. Already broken. Not sure if seller has 1 year warranty on item. Blue light came on and will not charge chair. Used another charger which worked fine.

He works great for charging my husband’s power wheelchair.

Works great on my wife's chair. No problems.
