"Easy Rider" Trike
Bought this Trike for my 25 month old tornado of a little boy(grandson) because it appeared to be well made, not plastic, and extremely "cool". It is very well made, simple to put together, and looks difficult to break in any way. It turned out to be a tad big for him even with the adjustable seat all the way forward, but he'll grow into it. He is a couple of inches shy of using the pedals but it didn't stop him from crashing about using "ground" propulsion. The child rides very low and the track width of the rear wheels makes it very stable and unlikely that even he can tip it over. This trike was the best one I could find when looking for something other than the cheap plastic looking stuff which seems to abound. While he has only had it several days, I can say this one is just about all steel and will last a long, long time. Pricewise, a good buy for a quality little trike. And, very "cool" and attractive as expected.

Won't tip over! VERY sturdy.
This is by far the best tricycle I've ever seen. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. This is why this trike is the best on the market:1) it has a low center of gravity and very widely spaced back wheels. This makes the bike essentially unable to be tipped over.2) the air-filled tires absorb shock which makes the ride super smooth and comfortable3) the seat has 4 or 5 settings so you can gradually move the seat back as your kid grows4) by far the most stylish and best looking trike out there, has a bell and even tasselsThis bike is stout and extremely sturdy. The metal and construction are top notch. The colors are bright.Sizing: my toddlers who are around 33-34 inches tall are just a bit too short to fully reach the pedals. We solved this problem by adding pedal blocks to the pedals. If price is not an issue for you, this is the tricycle you've been looking for!

Why didn't I have such a trike when I was little ...?
Sometimes you wish to be young again - really young, like two years old. We gave this trike as a birthday gift to my two year old son - the day was effectively over at that time, no interest in any cake, nor in all the other gifts (we told the grandparents a different story ...), nor in anything else. He absolutely loves it! He has not quite found out how to operate the pedals, so he moves it Flintstone-style, with his feet on the ground. Works like a charm. Good thing, that the seat is adjustable to five different distances from the pedals - we have it in the second notch now, which is perfect for him to reach the pedals. And his big sister (4 years old) actually loves to hitch a ride on the little step behind the seat - it is hilarious! The design is quite sound, I especially love the wide wheelbase, that prevents the trike from toppling over during normal operation (... well, sometimes it is operated rather un-normal ...). There are no sharp edges or pointy points sticking out, and assembly is a done in fifteen minutes. The overall quality is amazing - metal instead of plastic, I love it!Also, this was probably not intended to serve as such, but the seat has a small hole in the backside, where you can effectively grab the trike, or fix a rope to it, to prevent your little speedster from going away too far - which our young man will absolutely try, once he finds out what the pedals are for ...All in all, this is worth every cent - and makes me wish to be two again ... sometimes.

Awesome Tricycle
I bought this tricycle for my grandson for Christmas. I read other reviews before I purchased it. I disagree with other reviews that this was difficult to put together. It took me fifteen minutes and I am a 60 year old woman. The owners manual was very easy to understand. The only thing I changed was that I took the board off the back with Schwinn written across it and gave both sides a couple coats of polyurethane. The board has no coating on it and I read another review that the board warped after it got wet. I thought it was best to protect the board before I gave the tricycle to my grandson. I am looking forward to seeing his reaction on Christmas Day. This is a very sturdy well made tricycle.

Best first tricycle, my preschooler loves it. Very safe too!
Great tricycle, purchased as Christmas gift for our 2.5 year old (31ish inches tall) and she was able to ride with a little trouble pedaling (she had to learn to point her toes when the pedal was the farthest away from her). Now at 3 and 32 inches tall she can reach just fine and rides this thing all the time. I love that it’s lower to to the ground than other tricycles because although there have been some close calls she has never flipped it over. When she starts to tip over (because she is going fast and turns) she can instinctively put her leg out and touch the floor right away to catch herself before completely flipping over. Some tricycles sit up high and the higher center of gravity can cause kids to tip over and fall off easier, this one is low and allows the child stay balanced and on all three wheels. It is also a beautiful tricycle, definitely a head turner. The back wood deck seems like it more for decoration so I wouldn’t allow any standing on it and I would definitely not leave this outside in rain or too much sun. IMO it adds a little extra appeal and I don’t mind taking extra care of it, keep in mind I only have one toddler so I don’t have to worry about multiple kids climbing on this thing. I do think it could hold the weight of a small child but I would not want to find it weight capacity by letting bigger kids (10+) stand on it. All in all I would definitely recommend this as your preschooler first tricycle and would definitely recommend this as a safer option over other higher sitting tricycles.
