Well made, sturdy and a perfect fit!

This pickguard was a perfect fit on my American Tele. I installed many pickguards on my tele and strat and believe me they don't always fit without some modifying. This one fit perfectly and looks fantastic. Unbelievable value for the price, even came with new screws. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

Nice little upgrade for my Mexican tele. Seems well made and everything fit perfectly. My only wish was that it came with foil on the back to prevent buzz. Some companies like IKN come with foil backing. It’s a nice touch. I’ll have to buy some copper tape for this next time I change strings but for now, it looks great on my guitarPS I read a review that said installation required taking off the neck. No. Don’t do this. This person was probably not taking their strings off, which is just way more work than was needed. The guard should fit on the guitar without taking the neck off. Take off the strings to do this. The headache of taking off the neck is not worth a $6 pack of strings. The hardest part of installation is mounting the pickup but even that’s not hard to do. If you have a telecaster neck pickup that mounts underneath the guard, it’s even easier. You don’t even have to take the strings off for that. Just unscrew the guard and take it out and replace with the new one.

I needed a 3 ply black on white pickguard to replace the clear monstrosity that comes stock on the Leo Jaymz tele style guitars. I knew this wouldn’t be an exact fit and I’d need to do some modding. However It fit nearly perfectly, all but 3 of the holes matched the existing holes on the guitar. Being a sub $200 guitar I had no hesitation to drill 3 small pilot holes. The control plate cutout needed a few minutes of sanding to make it fit the slightly larger control plate, other than that it fit and looks like it belongs on it.

I put this on a Limited Edition Squier Tele and can't believe the improvement in looks! If you have a Strat or Tele with the standard white pickguard, try one of these and see what a difference it makes. This is a high-quality pickguard and all of the screw holes even lined up perfectly. No problem using this with either the stock pickups or the Wilkinson upgrade pickups I put in the guitar. I've done a fair amount of business with Musiclily thru the years and have found that they really care about their customers and provide some of the best customer service I've ever experienced, not that I've had to use it much. And no, I do not work for them.

I ordered this item knowing it was not made to fit the low-cost INDIO Retro Classic I have. I studied specs of guitar and pick guard, and made an educated guess that fitting it should be possible.Item arrived the next day, and was a very nice color contrast for the Blue Tele-style guitar I have. Removing the original guard and laying them on top of each other I could see minor, careful fitting would be required, and the redrilling 6 of the 8 screw holes also needed.Marking the two areas which would need sanding/filing to fit. Went to work on work bench and in about 30 minutes had a perfect fit. I mounted it to the guitar with the two holes which were correctly fitted. Then center punched the holes which were not aligned. Drilled carefully with a 1/8" bit, screwed in all screws, and WOW did it look very nice!Restrung guitar with De Addario NYXL 10-48's. Checked setup (all perfect), plugged into my tube amp, and was BLOWN AWAY! If you have not tried these strings yet, GET SOME, they are amazing!Overall, the pickguard looks beautiful on this $86.00 guitar, and with the guard and strings, I have a guitar I would play easily on stage, at a total cost of about $110.00!

The guitar I installed this on was a November 2020 Made in China Squier Affinity. Make sure to look up your serial number before buying.It did not fit straight out of the box and required some light cutting and filing where the neck slots in. If you look at the cutout for the neck you'll notice it's curved in the corners on the pickguard, I had to cut the curves out to square it off so it could slide forward to be able to clear the bridge. Then the control plate didn't line up exactly so I had to beat it until it snapped in place and screw it down. I didn't have to create anymore holes but some screws were slightly crooked. If you're buying this for a Squier Affinity made around the same time as mine please take all of this into account. Great looking pick guard otherwise.

Quedó increíble a mi MIM Fender Tele Player, es bastante grueso y el color es igual al que prometen en la foto, para el precio es incluso mejor que el que traía de fabrica. Lo recomendo mucho.

Fit my Mexican tele quite well, thicker than stock, looks as good as advertised, quality workmanship, had 2 layers of protective film, came with screws and a pick. Can't ask for much more.

Observera att det är två skruvhål vid halsmicken. Det är lätt att missa.

Beau pickguard de remplacement qui tombe pile-poil au niveau des trous de ma Fender Telecaster mexicaine.La qualité de fabrication est très bonne.Par contre, après avoir enlevé la 1ère couche de protection je pensais avoir des accrocs dans le pickguard et j'ai voulu le renvoyer avant de me rendre compte qu'il y avait une 2è couche (!) de protection ! Une fois celle-ci retirée le pickguard est flambant neuf. Bref, je recommande ce produit sans hésitation !
