The Best Completely Delicious and Completely Gluten Free Bread Made!!
I have tried almost every gluten free brand of bread out there always looking for something or anything like I used to be able to eat, as I really love good breads. And I am now completely Gluten intolerant. If i eat anything with any Gluten in it, i wake up the next day sick as a "dog".I have no idea how this came about, but since I was almost hospitalized after being misdiagnosed at least 5 different times, a client who is also a great doctor saw me one day and told me to just try not eating anything with any Gluten in it. even though i tested negative for Gluten allergies he told me a story about a friend of his who also didn't show any allergies in the blood tests taken but had been almost as sick as I was. Until he just tried cutting Gluten out of his diet.I was so deathly ill, I realized that not eating Gluten would be pretty easy for me, as I had been rather health conscious over the last 5-10 years anyway, and had some knowledge of wheat free diets, whole grain foods, etc. I stopped all gluten intake and within 5-7 days almost all of the multitude of horror level syndromes started to abate. I was so happy!I have a few suspicions regarding how eating GMO's could have been the cause to my sudden deathly reactions to gluten, out of the "blue" so to speak and being so sick, it felt like I was dying until that client of mine suggested I stay totally away from wheat or anything else with gluten, but as I said they are just suspicions. But back to my review of this product. as anyone who has gluten allergies at the high levels i have must already know, it is really hard to find any really delicious, tasty bread that is truly gluten free. i tried Food for Life, but that bread although gluten free had to be toasted for what seemed forever just to get it near to any decent consistency. Mostly all other brands have similar problems. I used to dearly enjoy my " Pan Complet" French bread fresh from the oven whenever was in Paris, or in Provence, and also here in New York City. One day recently I just got so fed up with the miserable breads I had to have, that I had the idea that perhaps I could find a good gluten free bread here on Amazon. I do most of my buying on amazon, so why not bread too?For 3 hours or less, I was searching, key wording, scrolling through related products lists, the usual type of deep hunting for exactly what you want that if you have good intuition and great patience for, you can slowly penetrate Amazons many filtered layers until you narrow in on your prey and finally find just what you wanted... LolAnd I found it! EUREKA!! New Grains Brand! You know that little mental "Click" ya kinda hear when you just know that you won? That Click ya get when you win the hunt? It's like that same little mental Click sound when you discover that 1 micro cap company on your last stock screen run, after running them for hours, when you just know you got another one. That's how I knew. It felt great. It looked great. And it is great. So I ordered the Multi-Grain bread and the cinnamon raison bread. It takes a little while to arrive but when it did, I opened the package and like I always used to do before I got sick, I ate a slice of real good tasting wonderful chewy delicious gourmet level.... Bread that is Gluten Free 100%. For the first time again, after maybe 5 to 7 years I had delicious bread back. Plus they have these incredibly delicious chocolate fudge 4 Oz Cookies that come ten in a box.... Which I love as much as their breads. ( guilty smile )You cannot go wrong with any of these breads or any other of their items. I am now only ordering from this company. Yes, the shipping is pretty highly priced, but I guess they need to eat too... I simply cannot recommend this Bread and this company and their products highly enough! And not once have I awakened the next morning sick with those horrid stomach cramps, the uhhhmm... Well I can leave out the rest of the actual details of Celiac Disease, as they are not pleasant. However that's is such ancient history now that I have found these delicious wonderful breads!( plus that occasional 4 Oz chocolate fudge cookie I simply must have now and well.... Now and then. )So I wrote this review. I cannot believe that there are so few other reviews. If it was up to me, and this company was as well run as their breads and cookies taste and are made, and they were trading in the stock market I would buy thousands of their shares. But then... That's a whole other story.I truly hope this helps some fellow sufferer out there..

This bread isn't my favorite, but it makes a nice sandwich
This bread isn't my favorite, but it makes a nice sandwich. The slices are generously sized and are gluten free. I did find that the bread split open rather easily, and thought with shippibg charges it was quite expensive.

It's quite gummy - does not toast well
Ok, so I have been searching for a good gluten free bread. I eat sandwiches nearly every day, and would prefer gluten free bread versus regular bread. I'm not gluten intolerant, but find reducing my gluten intake helps boost my energy...especially after lunch. I tried the gluten free bread from my local grocery store. The bread itself was okay, but the size was too small for a decent sandwich. So I searched online and found this bread. Although there were only a few reviews, I thought they were all postive enough for me to take the leap and order. First, the bread is priced at $7. A bit high for me, but worth it if the bread is good. Second, shipping is more than the bread ($10). So that makes one loaf of bread a total of $16. So now, this bread better be fabulous. Well, I was more than disappointed. I toast my bread since I make it in the morning and eat it around noon at work. The bread doesn't toast well. I ran it through the toaster 2 full cycles and the bread didn't quite feel like it had even started to toast. I made my sandwich, and when I ate it at lunch, the bread just stuck to my teeth. I was able to eat the sandwich, but I had to scrape the bread off after each bite. The bread wasn't soggy so it wasn't sticking because the bread had gotten soggy from the mayo I put on the bread. It was just a very gummy/gluey type bread. I thought it was odd when I picked up the loaf of bread and it is more than twice the weight as a gluten laden loaf of bread...so I'm not sure if the ingredients make the bread extremely heavy or if I had an odd loaf. Anyway, I'm disappointed and not sure if I can even eat the rest of my $16 loaf of bread.

Not what I expected
This bread was not like Schar or Canyon products. It is very dense and breaks apart too easily.

Superior taste, texture and quality!
I just began having gluten caused health problems and tried some of the "health food" stores for gluten free breads, rolls, cereal, etc. I did not expect much when I ordered your products on Amazon but was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted your breads....they were simply delicious and had a nice texture to them. Your products are just the best!! Keep up the quality and everyone, not only gluten free seekers, will buy your product just because they taste sooooo good!!

Really excellent gluten free bread
Holds together well (not quite as well as bread with gluten, but very well for gluten free bread), excellent taste and traditional bread appearance.

Pricey and a little odd.
The texture of the bread takes some getting used to. It is very thick and mealy. I was getting used to it and it was not bad. Only could eat it toasted. The second time I ordered it -and stored it in the refrigerator all 3 loaves got moldy after a week. Too expensive to take the chance again,
