Only kids I ever want & have are dog kids! I'm a Very Proud & Loving Dog Mommy to all my Dog Kids!! Each time I have given my dog baby a great life of great care, lots of spoiling, cuddling & fun times & loving them, from day one I bring each of them home, at only few weeks old, there always comes the very sad & heart breaking day, when we have to put them to sleep! Each time one of my babies passes away, I always buy different & special memorial heart felt gifts, in loving memory of them, as a way to help me pay my respect & love to them for the love I have for & shared with each of my babies I've lost! I loved this Stepping Stone, as It's Very True, for those of us that love & treat our four legged babies as not just pets but a very special part of us & our hearts & daily life!! My heart has over flowing love for my babies & this Stepping Stone really says the way my heart & I feel about my very special loved babies!! This Stepping Stone is Very Sturdy & Very Well Made & Sentimental gift to my special babies I still am able to love & spoil & also the ones I've lost! I recently lost one of my special loved babies on 9-23-14 and I bought more new items to remember her & my other special loved babies I've lost too! Luckily, I still have one young baby I can still love & spoil rotten!! I keep my special memorial tributes gifts to my babies & myself, with my baby's urns in my entertainment cabinet & all items & their urns makes a pretty display on the shelves of love to my special loved babies, always in my heart & apart of me!! I've loved the quote on that stone for so long and never could find anything over 4 inches across and under a billion dollars (not really) before now. So, when I saw the deal for this one I grabbed. Especially since I'd buried a very sick kitty that had belonged to a neighbor about one week prior. She had to give her up (after 13 years) due to a messy divorce. Chloe was very ill and I'm sure the change didn't help but she passed quickly and painlessly while I held her small head in my hands and whispered softly into her ears. I told her about how she would no longer be in pain and soon she'd be running in the spring grass with the warm sunshine on her back as she played with her siblings.I was (of course) crying the entire time even though i'd only had her about 1 1/2 months, but these things are never easy. when I saw that I could at least mark her grave with a sentiment that meant so much-- and SAID so much in so few words--I bought it right away and am so glad I did. It's a good seven or more inches across and about 1/2 inch thick. Be aware that this is NOT a stepping stone The lettering is a bit light but you can easily go over it with either a dark colored acrylic paint and a thin brush or even a permanent marker (like a Sharpie).I LOVE it and I love the words because, as any pet owner knows, it reads so clearly what we feel when we lose a loved one. "If love could have saved you..." How much better can you state what you're feeling at those times?Well worth the price. I DID coat it with a waterproofing spray to be sure it withstands the elements. Only time will tell. But I would definitely buy this again. Sadly, I know I will have to...sooner or later.

This is one of those items...MY REVIEW:So happy to have found, purchased and received this item to use as a memorial "stone" for our beloved two dogs, Elliott (17 - sheltie) & Taffy Apple (16 - toy poodle), whom we lost due to "old age" eight months apart in 2015. Have been searching, passively, for over a year for the "most perfect" item to mark their shared resting place in our backyard. Tho the smaller paw is most likely meant to represent a cat's paw - we felt it was perfect for our little old pup, Taffy Apple. This was made that much "more perfect" for our personal purpose, seeing it had both the large and smaller paw print.As for design, size and overall appearance - could not be happier!Giving warm THANK YOU's to all those that wrote previous reviews AND especially for those that included photos - it was immensely helpful in making my decision "worry free". Was pleasantly surprised with this item as I expected it to be very lightweight and plastic but it was quite a heavy weight resin and looked great. I got it as a present for friends who had just lost their much loved dog and they absolutely loved it, highly recommend it.

I love this memorial to our dogs we've lost. It's heavy and excellent quality and bears up well to the elements.
