I got this for my 2006 Polaris Sportsman 450 Warn Winch install. It was easy to install on the winch cable but the center hole is much larger than the 7/32 cable on the winch. It will slide over the cable crimp all the way down to the hook. It is made of a semi soft rummer to there is some give to it and the hook is held in place without undue pressure. Seems to be solid enough construction. Not much to it. Fit my ATV winch well and easy to install. Only thing I could think of is the nuts, although stainless steel, should be at least nylon locking nuts or at a minimum used with a lock washer. The nuts included are all but guaranteed to vibrate loose and fall off as-is.

works good, only wish it had a smaller stopper inside as if you are not watching it will pull up so tight that it bends the loop cable attached to the hook

I bought this bundled with my winch line it was combined with the no metal 3/8 winch line but I needed to use a drill press with end mill bit to enlarge the hole and use a screw clamp to tightly compress the stopper just to start the threads going over the 3/8 rope and guard after milling it to be tight.FWIW the rubber milled easily and cleanly with the sharp bit making the hole into an oval in the stopper, the rubber seems good quality. So , although extra work I got a custom fit… maybe for some that will be a plus.
