VIMVIP® USB & 3.5mm AUX Extension Flush Mount 2 Meter Audio Cable, 1/8 AUX Car Bike Boat Motercycle Lead

Only been installed for a couple days but works well. I ohmed it out with a meter before installing and got <1ohm on everything. It fits perfectly in an OEM cigarette lighter hole. Which is exactly how I installed it. I've used it with a flash drive and an iPhone 6s+ so far and had no issues. It's plugged into a Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS for my install but will work anywhere you can drill a hole that you can route the wires to. It makes for a clean install which I like.Update: Several years later and it is working as good as new. It doesn't get as much use as when I first installed it but it's nice to have.

I used this as the connection for USB & Aux from the back of my touchscreen HU to my dash. It fit nicely where I had a car charging adapter (like a cig lighter). Just took out the old and slid this right in. Looks clean and factory. See photo. There was plenty of cable for what I needed. Reasonable price. Cover fits pretty tight. Not sure if its water proof but seems like it could be. Way better than having loose cables hanging.

For some reason this cable extension does not work well with my Pioneer 8100 nex and Andriod Auto in mirroring. It cuts in and out. If I use a "real" cable from Samsung it works fine. The only thing i can figure is it must be the quality of the cable. The audio portion does work fine.

This looks very good, for the money. I haven't installed it yet, but don't anticipate any problems.DR.K.

Fits well in the old cigarette lighter hole, but the nut that holds it tight in the back only turns a half turn before needing to be forced. That may help keep it tight, but for me I couldn't easily get at the nut to turn it tight and ended up making a spacer so I didn't have to tread it on very far.

Mounted it in the dash panel on my truck plugged it in and the USB port is deadNot happy

Nice addition to any aftermarket radio with ubs/ aux support!! Seems well constructed... I used a unibit(step bit) to open existing cigarette opening to fit this in my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport...

Awesome !Awesome !Awesome ! my alpine stereo has the ability to use a usb or a thumb drive, but the connection is in the back and no dash mount, what were they thinking, I was supposed to have a wire hanging out of the dash. this put a perfect flush connection on your dash. also has a connection for Ipod
