VIMVIP Dual USB 3.0 Female Back Panel to Motherboard 20pin Cable with PCI Bracket 50cm

If you have a 20pin USB 3.0 on your motherboard that is not being used then I would highly recommend this back panel USB 3.0 to add 2 more ports the the back of your PC. With so many USB devices 2 more ports come in handy. My only con is I wish the Back PCI Bracket would come in black instead of chrome. Other than that works great!

Most tower cases only use 1 of the usual 2 internal USB 3.2 ports on current motherboards for the front panel and they second set just sits unused. This little inexpensive adaptor allows you to gain access to those ports and use them on the back of the PC... I find you can never have enough USB ports today with the proliferation of add on devices out there for USB 3.0/3.2 devices. Its well worth the very small cost and comes with a cable long enough to connect to the motherboard even if you are using a full sized tower...

My initial thoughts on this back panel insert are positive. Because it uses the motherboards USB 3.0 headers, there isn't much that can go wrong.The ports look decent enough, nothing super cheap looking but I've seen and felt some better ports. I don't plan to constantly plug and unplug devices into these ports so hopefully durability wont be an issue long term.I wish cable was longer so I could better route it through my case and back to my motherboard for a cleaner look but it's not that bad. I have it going from the back panel of the case directly to a header on the the opposite side rather than the bottom header. This for the most part looks cleanMy only real complaint is I wish either it had a second screw hole for the back panel tab, or it locked in better. Because it doesn't actually attach to the motherboard, the bottom portion kind of pushes in as you plug stuff in since there's only one screw hole.Basically it works. Its not bad by anymeans, but not great. I'll give it some time to see durable it will be.

Works as expected. No problems with installation or usage on an ASUS motherboard. Only possible negative is that they opted for a two cord design and since the cords are fairly rigid routing the cable through the case is a bit less flexible. In a small form factor case or a build with many large cards it could be a challenge.

Good build quality, seems to support maximum USB speed. Most motherboards from the last 5 or more years should have a dedicated, dual USB 3.0 pin header for this type of connector, but check your manual to verify that you acutally have such a USB 3.0 connector...the older style USB 2.0 connectors won't work.

This dual USB 3.0 back panel was purchased to expand an Inateck USB 3.0 5-Port PCI Express Card. I installed the VIMVIP bracket into an empty slot and plugged the 20-pin header cable into the Inateck PCI-E card. It worked perfectly. I now have two additional USB 3.0 ports on the back of my Dell Dimension T3500 (2011). I was hopeful the bracket would not flex and it does not because of the reinforcement along the edge. I researched other brackets, but this one works and I am delighted. Fast shipping too from the USA.

Works perfectly. Connector fits solidly. I bought this one because there is a decent amount of space between the ports. Some of the others have them close and it can be a problem with some USB products, like some of the top tier usb thumb drives. Well done.

Solo tienes que considerar que el cable es grueso y difícil de ocultar. Sería más útil si fuese unos 10 o 15 centímetros más largo. Lo usé para el segundo puerto USB 3 de mi tarjeta madre.

lamentablemente no pude probarlo porque es de low profile y no es compatible con mi gabinete

El bracket es bajo perfil, solo reconoce una de las 2 entradas usb

La placa donde se instalan los puertos USB es pequeña( no ATX), tuve que barrenar otra placa para empotrar los conectores USB. Deberian de mandar las dos tamaños de placas.
