Very Basic. I guess I was expecting more. It has track plans, wiring diagrams and benchwork procedures

Came in good condition. Just what I needed to plan scale set

This item is a book of N gauge track plans for Atlas track and accessories. It is not a toy! The book is simple to follow and, with a couple of exceptions, gives accurate part lists and easy to follow directions.

I bought this on a recommendation from a very experienced modeler, so I was expecting much better. Although there are a few useful specifics (e.g. on benchwork), most of the information here is too generic to be implemented in practice. Much better information is available for free online, including innumerable How To videos.In fact, the biggest problem you will face online is the sheer volume of good advice to sift through.Even though it is modestly priced, I did not feel that this was worth the money.

Yes just cant go wrong with this book great for starters, Ive been playing with trains for 40 years now and I still refer to this book. Good on you
