Great machine
Love the machine. Hubby loves cold cuts but they are all at least $10 a pound here . I can roast a turkey breast we eat some as a dinner the other 1/2 breast is sliced into cold cuts and usually make a pot pie out of the rest so for about $12 we have 2 dinner and a few pounds of cold cuts . Following week do it with a beef roast . Dinner and rest is cut super thin for great hot or cold sandwiches. Ham is the same deal . Well worth the investment . Only drawback is directions are minimal so I had to learn to clean it ( no instructions on cleaning ) on YouTube!

Fantastic
It’s heavy but that’s a good thing, runs quiet, easy to clean. I will say the three screws holding on the blade are very tight, they should be, and after loosening those it’s easy to clean.

Easy to assemble convenient to use
Could have included a serrated blade

Cuts well, cleans up poorly
Thus far the slicer cuts really well. I agree with another review that where the food product lands can be dangerously close to the blade. However, my greatest concern is the difficulty in cleaning it properly. I still can’t figure out how to take the entire slicer apart for proper sanitizing as the owners Manuel lacks detail information. Any slicer I’ve taken apart before didn’t require a tool, it’s pretty frustrating.

Bad customer service
I ordered and the coupon didn't work and said order didn't go through. So ordered again. Then noticed that there were 2 charges on my credit card. Wrote them and said to cancel the first order They said no problem.2 of them showed up. I got ahold of them and they said it was $50 to ship back. And extra if it had been used or unpacked.Shipping label said to put a back up receipt in the box.I cut a 3" cut in the tape and slipped the receipt in.They changed me $50 for open box.On the one I kept. It looked like it was used. And it is very hard to clean. I would not buy again. It does slice nice. But it takes about 45 minutes to disassemble clean and reassemble.

Too big and too hard to clean for home use.
This product may work in a deli or for heavy use but for home use it is too bulky, cumbersome to use, and too hard to clean. Also, the instructions for this item make no sense. When I tried to return it, I was told that I would have to pay for shipping, $20 if I used their printed label, and a 15% restocking fee. This was not disclosed at the time of purchase which is especially disappointing because it has to be shipped across the width of the US. If I would have known it was shipped from California, I would not have purchased it.

The WeChef Commercial Electric 12 inch Meat Slicer a beast of a machine
My second deli slicer of the year.It does require removing a 2 or 3 thumb screws and 3 Phillips screws properly clean. Some of the brackets get in the way, I considered removing another 6 or more screws during clean. Cleanup before and after use is a barrier for small jobs.Pro1. It's heavy and does not slide around on my bar.2. I appears like it will last my lifetime if I continue to take care of it.3. Handles thick cuts of partially frozen meat well. (I processed an entire steer from quarters, I got tired of knife work so I cut all the steaks with this at max thickness.)4. So far it handles my abuse, which the last smaller one did not.Con1. The side is a little short. Not only would I like to get larger roasts loaded up and such, but whatever I have loaded doesn't always slide past the blade far enough to finish the cut. (Generally when dealing with a loin with fat around the outside.) The issue is then I have to pull it out the back or mess up the cut slide it back and forth.2. Was a little messy cutting previously frozen proven cheese. It kinda throw chucks of cheese. (This was my first test and may have not had the blades sharp enough. So this my get removed later.)3. The rubber feet leave black marks all over my bar (which the machine is sitting on).4. I do not like the way food drops out the back.If I could make changes to the design:1. I would add 3 inches of side to the left (feed), and half an inch to the right (cut).2. I would angle the blade and mechanics so that the slicer fall behind the machine without hitting and having to curve around the metal base. (easier say then done)3. I would increase the thickness adjustment to allow thicker cuts.My changes and cons 1 and 4 probably won't affect people cutting standard deli items, but make cutting an entire sirloin into steaks problematic. At the end of the end I am happy this machine did it, and I am excited to try cutting jerky slices on it.In closing I definitely role this machine out at the price point and features offered.
