Ok I guess, but I was expecting more.
I wanted to install a security system on my bike because it seemed like a cheap enough entry.I originally started with a stand alone battery operated unit (the most popular one on Amazon) and was dissatisfied due to the level of sensitivity the unit had when the motorcycle was disturbed. I ride a 2017 Yamaha FZ-09 for the record. This alarm ended up being only marginally better in that it draws power from the battery so there's no battery to remember to replace. The install itself was straight forward and involved connecting of positive and negative wires to the battery terminals. It would have been nice if the wires were not just bare wires and had some sort of connector. I ended up soldering some spade connectors in 22 gauge which made it nice and clean. Connection to the battery at that point was simple and the wires were easy to route. What I was not happy about with this kit again was the level of sensitivity. Someone would have to straight up SIT on my bike for the alarm to go off. I guess it would go off if it got tipped over too.At the end of the day I'm going to give it to you straight: This a cheap way to add "resale value" to the bike, and to look cool when it chirps when walking to or away from the bike. The alarm sound itself is annoying, the directions impossible to understand, the remote feels cheap, and the sensitivity settings are too difficult to follow thereby rendering the system with essentially one sensitivity. This product is worth the $25 to gain the cool factor and up the resale value (on paper) - but DO NOT expect anything beyond that. This is probably the best motorcycle alarm system you can get, and it's still borderline junk.

Nice fit and finish
Packaged well with adequate instructions. Easy to install. Decent range to fobs (depending on where you mount with regard to metal obstructions). The reaction to motion er vibration is finicky. We go the best results when we mounted securely to solid metal so that the vibrations would be better transferred to the unit. We mounted in a side by side (CanAm Maverick), which experiences a lot of bumps and jolts, notwithstanding the unit continues to function as when we first installed. Would purchase again.

Does not work as intended
Well... it beeps once to arm and beeps twice to dis-arm and that's about it.I have this installed vertically on my golf cart and I can jump up and down on it and it won't trigger. What good is this alarm for then?I would adjust the sensitivity but the instructions make no sense. Here they are:"in the absence of state security, vehicle finder button press(or together press release arming key + disarming key)2.5seconds,to issue a horn beep when released into the sensitivity adjustment state, then the speaker will "Bi""BIBi""BiBiBi""BiBiBiBi""BiBiBiBiBi"cycle tweet, tweet, said the number of consecutive different sensitivities, the highest number of horn sound,anti-theft highest sensitivity.when the tweet to the sensitivity required, press vehicle finder keys(or arming key)to confirm, then the speaker will beep loudly, this time is to adjust the sensitivity of the file number."SAY WHAT??!?!?!?

Sensitivity sometimie but loud
Easy to install. Put in 2023 Grom. Fit under by just setting it in. Sensitivity sometimie for me but possibly just my drop-in installation method. Onetime just touching the bike sets a cherp, other times I've actually mounted the bike before it cherped. However no one will make off with bike without completely triggering alarm. And this thing is loud so it certainly grabs everyones attention.Don't need at home because I live off in the woods. But I set when in town. Really get some funny looks walking away from a Grom in the Walmart parking lot and setting a remote alarm in a small country town.I also typically park in that short space in front of the cart cages. It's mischievous fun to trigger the locator alarm function went people return a cart.

Not bad for price but needs more sensitivity
The media could not be loaded. Overall it's not a bad alarm for $20 but it could use some improvement in sensitivity. The alarm does not trigger even when I'm sitting on it or rolling it around. However it does trigger if the bike is moved around in a jerky motion such as dropping to kickstand or applying brakes. I've attached video showing the alarm in action, well, sort of.For extra security I installed the alarm in clutch side fairing. That way it's discreet and would be hard for the casual thief to find it. Granted, they could just disconnect the battery but they would need the seat key or use a lot of force to rip the seat off. Better than just leaving the alarm out in the open or under the seat. One thing it does have going for it is that it barely draws any battery power. That's a good thing considering the grom has a tiny battery and just can't spare a lot of power.
