Great replacement for Nutone Model 668RP
I am writing this review to help others who is looking for the NuTone 668RP exhaust fan motor. I looked at others that specifically had the 668 model number but none that said 668RP. I think the others may have worked fine (and some reviewers had stated that fact) but most of them did not stack up with the right specs. First, I took the old fan motor out of it's housing and brought it in my room for measurements. I chose this one because the shaft was 1 3/4 inches instead of the 1 1/2 inches on most of the other ones I looked at. Also, and most important, this one gave me the specs for the space between the bolts that attach to the housing which was exactly 1 7/8. And while the other ones may have the same dimensions, I did not know how to calculate their measurements with the numbers they gave. The fan works great and fit perfectly. I do not think it is very loud and I have only had it in one day but my wife ran it for a few hours. I am not trying to convince anyone to buy this particular brand as I just wanted to let anyone who is looking that this was a great replacement that fit perfectly. If it does not last or I have problems like a few others (in every review as someone always gets a bad apple), then I will update this review. If you are having any trouble putting the fan blade on as others have remarked on this and other exhaust fans, you just have to be patient and keep working at it. I found the easiest way was to put the motor in a vice (as the sides are flat and strong) and to line up the fan blade with the slot in the shaft; then I took a large socket and put it on top of the fan blade and hit it gently but firmly with a rubber mallet. It was really easy and went on without a hitch. I did hit it a few more times really easily so that the fan looked like it lined up with the dust marks of the old fan. It would have worked either way but I wanted it to be exactly the same. This fan cost a few dollars more but fit my specifications exactly. Others may work just as well but I paid a little extra because I knew it would fit perfectly. My biggest worry was that the gap between the mounting screws or bolts would be too large or too small. So if there is other fan motors out there that fit this well, please give us the specifications in inches so that we can make the proper comparisons. I am not be a math genius and some of the numbers from others did not convert as millimeters or centimeters. So I was lost and it may be something really simple, however, I have been out of school for some time.Again, I hope this review helps someone to make sure they get the right part. Now that I put this one together, I believe the 1.5 shaft would have also worked as there is plenty of clearance; but I am glad I went by the one with the same specifications. Such a nice feeling to fix a bathroom exhaust light/fan unit without having to replace the whole thing.

Great replacement for old Broan bathroom exhaust fan
Our bathroom fan is a really old Broan fan. I could not find the model number, but the motor is Uppco Inc, P-6080. The housing is 8 1/4 x 8 1/4. This new fan motor is exactly the same dimensions and shape as the old one. It sounds the same as well. We like some white noise for privacy in the bathroom. So it's perfect! Very easy to install as well. I only needed a screwdriver and a small wrench.

Works fine and very quiet
Not plug 'n play for my older vent/heat bathroom unit but it was simple to make it work. Used the longer mount/case screws from the old motor, extended the cord from old motor and swapped end to end, the long side of the motor armature with the short. EZ Peezee.More affordable than the $115 (possible plug 'n play) part found elsewhere on the web. Same end result.

Well made
I ordered this item hoping it would fit my needs. I was not able to use it. When I looked at it I could tell it is very well made and very precise and quiet. Sorry it didn't fit my bathroom fan application.

So far so good.
Needed a replacement motor for my Broan 688-j and so far so good. Size is right and runs great. I did have to change the direction of the bolts so it could mount properly but was super easy to do.

Good replacement parts
Goid replacement of motor and fan without having to resort to a full fan replacement. Had to reverse the bolt housing to make it fit my fan frame but that was easy. Very happy with product that I ordered two more to replace another burnt out motor and to have a backup ready in case my 3rd fan dies.
