What is the solution for the audio hiss mentioned by one of the customer reviews?

A hiss noise is usually caused by the output gain being too low. This causes the other audio device to try and amplify too much, leading to a hiss noise. Can you tape it to the inside of a shirt instead of using the clip or is it to heavy / unbalanced weight wise?

Nothing's impossible, but I would be cautious about having the clip (which contains the mic) accidentally rubbing against your body or clothing.
