Very impressed with the features of this box. Very Sturdy, sliding shelf, you can stand on the top of it, it's filled with foam so very solid... The latches key lock on both sides and are easy to use ONCE THEY ALIGNED. My box had one latch catch(attached to the lid) placed incorrectly so IT WOULD NOT align so I had to re-drill and attach which was considerable labor. I would have normally contacted the company, but with something this large and since I already had it installed, it didn't make sense. So summary, this is a great box for the money once it's set up! I still think the company should reimburse me for fixing their error, most consumers probably wouldn't have been able to modify the latch location(redrill the holes and remount), so wouldn't recommend unless you are handy. Again, this is a toolbox after-all, so assuming you have some tools and are not just buying it so you look cool, because it does look pretty darn good in the back of my truck!

Received and outer packing box looked fine and did not appear to be any damage. After i slid it out there was a second box with foam padding between the out and inter box. Still thought all was good. Got tool box out and noticed a dent over the handle. Looking closer i saw the paint was cracked and it will just peel up. No etching primer or bonding agent applied. Started looking closer and lots of cracks in paint on all corners.DO NOT get a black tool box from UWS. They don't know how to apply paint. The aluminum is super weak as well.I had an old tool box just regular aluminum and want this unit to go with my new truck.Super disappointed.
