Sharp and Comfy
These scissors are absolutely great. They fit the palm of your hand really well. They work smoothly and are extremely sharp. If you’re looking for a good pair of bonsai scissors worth every penny

Good value
Super sharp so be careful. Accidentally cut my forearm just grazing the tip while carrying them. That being said, they make a really clean cut even through thicker plant stems. They’re all metal, no plastic so they seem very sturdy. Great for the price.

They are specialty scissors, not pruners, and not meant for cutting cloth, cardboard or 3/8" stems!
I liked the metal handles, and the nice open design so my hand/fingers aren't cramped in. I like that they are sharp. The kind of metal used holds an edge and is easier to sharpen than stainless, but you need to care for it or it will rust. Wipe it off while using and when done clean and oil it. Please don't use them for projects around the house! First of all, the blades are too short for cutting material, wires, or cardboard and you will dull the blades and get frustrated. Pick the right tool for the project. These are for plant trimming not pruning; removing small twigs, cutting small roots or leaves or flowers and fruit stems, etc. The point lets you get in close in tight plant for quick and clean snips. If you care for the tool and use it appropriately, it is a good tool. Think bonsai work, not machete or pruner. The reason I gave a 3 star on ease of use and sturdiness is that you do have take care of them more than stainless options, and if you abuse them and try to force or cut too hard of materials, they will bend and you won't be able to use them for what they were designed to do.

Scissors work great for Bonsai pruning
These work great, fit good in my hand and easy to use. I have used them only once so far but they look like they will last a long time, pretty sturdy.

They’re okay
They came kinda dull and smelled of cosmoline. I sharpened them and wiped them off. They’re serviceable now

Who knew metal could stink so terribly?
These don't fit my hands very well, and they don't seem balanced well at all so they feel awkward for me. I do have small hands and would probably have returned them for this reason alone since I most likely need a totally different handle shape. Why one star? They also smell ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE for some reason, and that stench stayed on my hands after I touched them. I put them right back in the package after realizing the smell was coming from them, so I can't speak to their function otherwise.I've spent a lot of time around blacksmiths and knife makers, and I've maintained high carbon steel, but I have no idea what would cause these to smell so bad. There wasn't anythng visible coming off of them onto my hands, or any gunky build up of oil. It isn't something I've ever smelled before. Figuring out whether I could work with the fit became an instant non-issue because it was so bad.
