Works perfectly, I've had for quite some months. Fits just right, no hassle.

It's 100% plastic with a wire clip. It pops on with no effort and works. But there's no metal insert, etc. so I can't see it standing up to any abuse. But it does work, and for the price it was a good replacement for the one that was missing in my used truck.

Great replacement for the 2008 driver-side GMC sierra the only thing I probably would’ve put in the description is a link to a YouTube video where it explains how to put the clip on it is hard I am a woman and I’ve never done it before so it’s a little more harder to explain so Google or go on YouTube and find a video on how to replace the handle for your year and hopefully this will help it took me about 2×23 times to try to figure out how to put the clip on

My children regardless of how many times I say don't mess with the truck still do. So of course they broke the lever off to control the seat back. They also made sure to have it tilted way back making it difficult to drive until a new lever arrived. This lever works great and is easy to install. Basically just push it on. Amazon has many affordable replacements for my Suburban which has saved the day due to my children. Not only have they broken this, but have also ripped off a door handle and hung like a monkey from the rear window washer arm. Those are different reviews. My children are going to make Amazon richer.

For a 2008 model, it's no wonder the handle broke. The person using that seat is very rough on everything so it's more surprising that the old handle lasted as long as it did. This is perfect. At first, there was some cussing involved until you grab a pair of tweezers to help and then pop it right into place. Took less than 3 minutes total. Works perfectly. I'm so relieved that was so easy.

I just recently passed 100,000 miles so all the cheap plastic on my truck is starting to break. One day when moving the seat back, the handle just snapped off. A quick search led me here and I ordered the replacement. I had read reviews here first and saw that the included metal clip is smaller than the original so I kept the original to install it. The included clip is indeed smaller and thinner so keep the original if you can. I put the old clip on, inserted the handle and it fit perfectly. Although. It’s not an exact copy, it fits and works just fine. I’ve had it for the last few months and have had no problems. Recommended.
