Glassic Gifts® 5" Hanging Fitzroy Storm Glass Ornament

This is the best deal you'll find online for a storm glass. I already checked ebay, Walmart etc. Like others mine didn't seem to do much at first but a) I didn't reset it and b) although we had some rain and stuff there was nothing big that happened weatherwise. Today I noticed that even without resetting it, several of the crystals have gone to the top. We're supposed to have a big winter storm tomorrow. I'm going to try resetting it with a hair dryer and I'm excited to see how well it does.Overall, it's attractive and a nice size. Nice that it comes with a hanging hook as well. The packaging was amazing - you could tell they took great care to make sure it didn't break. I was worried I would break it just trying to get the packaging off! I would definitely buy this as a gift.

A few days ago it was gorgeous outside. I asked Siri on my phone what the weather would be. Siri told me it'll just be a bit cloudy in the afternoon, however this glass predicted rain. Guess what? It rained. My weather app on my phone predicted 39dgs at night, the glass predicted frost. Woke up at 7am to frost. Each time this glass is predicting things both Siri and my weather app get wrong, I post it on my FB page for my friends to take notice. I have it hanging in my living room window in front of my office desk and have come to trust this thing more than my phone (sorry Siri) or any app!!!

I bought three of these total for my family waiting to give them on Christmas. The last one I bought did not cone with a hook to hang it is there a way I can get the hook so I don't have to go out and buy one ? Thank u !

I love it. It's absolutely beautiful. The crystals inside change constantly, and although I'm not experienced enough to read it accurately it does definitely react to changes in the weather. Time will tell if it is accurate, but it is a beautiful decorative piece of constantly changing art hanging in my window either way.

This is such a cool ornament. I have a regular storm glass and this ornament version works the same way. So fun!

Although the delivery was quick, I received the wrong item. There are two UPC codes on the box. One says Fitzroy storm glass and the other says Galileo Thermometer. The actual contents are the Galileo Thermometer. I wanted the Fitzroy glass. Unfortunately, it's too close to Christmas now to send it back. I can't go to Christmas without a gift for Grandma!

its pretty but it doesn't seem to change with the weather at all. We have had snow and rain and no change

Doesn’t work as well as I had hoped. Sometimes the crystals move around, but not too accurate. Looks pretty though.
