EnricoRoot Wood Medium Bowl with Handles, Brown

My intent for this root wood bowl was to use it as a fruit bowl on my kitchen counter, to replace my old one. Unfortunately, this thing is much, much smaller than the specs listed (I measured it when I first received it, and there was a huge discrepancy, both in height and width). I had the same problem with another Enrico bowl I purchased. When I doubt, err on the side of buying larger - my next step will likely be to order the "extra large" bowl. The bowl itself that I received is more like a flat platter, with smaller handles than shown in the picture. The handles are not symmetrical but rather offset from each other, adding to the unique appearance (much different than the picture). In fact, what I received looks completely different than what is pictured, in pretty much every way - shape, height, width, handle size. Would fit maybe 3 medium sized apples, and that's it. I actually liked the "platter" I received, instead of the bowl I expected, because I found another use for it. It is sitting on a plate stand in my library bookcase. It is a piece of art due to its unique and beautiful appearance, but I could not use it for the fruit bowl that I had planned to use it for. Just be aware that each bowl is different and you may get something much smaller than expected, and you may not even get a "bowl" at all.

Overall, this is a pretty and functional little bowl.Ours is much more round than the pictured bowl (no "square-ness" to the shape at all) and the handle cut-outs are smaller than expected.The wood inside the handle cut-outs is very rough - not sanded smooth - and does not seem to be coated with a finish of any sort. This is not a problem at our house, but could be good to know if you plan to use the bowl around moisture or will need to clean it often.The wood grain and tone are beautiful and it is a very unique and attractive piece.

The bowl I received today is not at all like what is pictured.I expected to find a squarish basket type bowl when I opened up my package.I received a rather flat, round-ish type bowl, that is roughly 3 inches deep, NOT the 6 inches deep as mentioned in the product dimensions.It is beautiful nonetheless, however I cannot use it for what was intended--as a personal salad bowl for those really AWESOME caesar salads...Looking on the product's website, here: [...]the dimensions are listed as such:Approximate Dimensions- 9-11 L x 9-11 W x 3-5 H inchesThis listing on Amazon stating 11x11x6 needs to be changed to reflect the huge discrepancy.3 and 6 inches deep is A LOT of missing wood

Worth the money. Nice quality, durable and ao cute.

The picture is from before they changed the dimensions from 6" high to 3.5" high. I looked on the company website to see that. One of the handles is such that there is only about 1.4" around part of the top of the handle.

I bought this as a gift and I'm so glad I did. I saw it in person, for the first time, yesterday. It's very rustic and seems strong.The quality seems excellent. I recommend it.

Buyer beware. The photo of the item is not what you receive. The photo is much more ornate and detailed. When I received it I was very disappointed with it because it was expensive, and is cheaply made. It is very small not even close to medium in size and has a crack in it that will render it weak and easily breakable. I wanted to return it for a refund and discovered that it is not eligible for a return. Not satisfied with the customer service.

What a mistake , it’s not worth. I bought this bowl Based on the picture that the smaller has on Amazon. It’s was so small nothing compares to what he has there. Went I was trying to return it. They won’t allow to. Bared in mi d I paid 80 Dollars for it. Don’t buy it.
