I use this for a lot of things, especially home made lice preventative care products. It works amazing. Love this brand and have two shelves full of their quality essential oils.

I acquired this peppermint oil to use in making rodent repellent for the engine compartments of our vehicles. This year we are inundated with rats, mice and rabbits from the grove, and all of them seem to adore the taste of the soy-based insulation that is used (Federal Mandate) on automotive wiring. After more than a few wiring repairs, and after doing extensive research, I decided to use a combination of the rat repelling electronic devices and peppermint oil mixture sprayed liberally in the engine compartment. Reviews are mixed on both methods, hence my decision to use both.The good: This peppermint oil came well packed and intact on arrival. The included dropper actually works. The oil mixed readily with a solution of water and Dawn Dish Soap, and stayed in solution while I put into a hand spray bottle and liberally coated the engine and engine compartment. One bottle will make numerous treatments.The result of using this product, along with an electronic unit, is that we have not had any repeat episodes of rodent damage to the car wiring. I cannot honestly say which of the two methods is responsible, or if you need a combination of both methods, but I can say using the two, repeating application of the peppermint oil every few weeks and keeping the batteries up in the electronic unit has worked as intended.I have already purchased another bottle of this essential oil, and will again soon.

We got this for the smell, as well as it being very intense. we put a little bit around in the various corners helps with keeping small bugs away from areas and leading them towards traps such as ants because they don’t like the strong smells so good in the yard to keep the chickens and other animals away from the gardens in the flowers.

One of my two cats loves the scent of this oil, while his brother ignores it. For the one who loves it, just a few drops can make any toy more interesting, and any bed more comfy -- at least for a few days.

I use this sporadically all around the our porch about a good 30 minutes before relaxing on the porch! I use it to deter spiders! Along with citronella and eucalyptus and lemongrass to deter mosquitoes and wasps! It’s been amazing to be able to sit on the porch and not worry about the mosquitoes at sundown. The wasps haven’t been back either!

I mix this with 50% alcohol and water to use around the house on different items to help my home smell fresh. And yes, it does help keep certain bugs away!

The peppermint oil, mixed with water, smells so good. I originally bought it to keep flies away, which it does help a lot. But everyone just loves how the house smells so fresh.

Bought this twice- The first time sometime last year I think it was VERY pepperminty and the label said Japanese Peppermint. It was strong and worked really well for warding off insects. Bought it again in June it’s not as strong and I noticed they changed the label to the scientific name (?). I even put some full strength on a cotton ball to compare and yes- it’s different now- disappointing. It’s still ok I guess but I now have to look elsewhere for better quality

The only downside is I hate the glass dropper. I bought a roller ball vial to use this oil instead. Even if it had that plastic piece with the hole to dispense it would have been better. I was always so afraid of spilling the whole bottle whole using the dropper & it was messy.

It’s extremely potent. I used maybe 5 drops of this undiluted (later added argon oil) on my scalp to get rid of the itch from faux locs and I legitimately thought I was going to die. Even after washing it out twice my head still felt like it was burning
