Bought this to replace a busted up awning on a trailer I just bought. Works great, install was not tough to figure out, and I was able to do it solo which was nice. Only thing I wish I would have done differently is use some spray lube. I never read the reviews until I went to post this one and had a hand to forehead moment. This product will be tough to slide up the channels without lube!

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. My old awning was 8 years old and was ripping so I needed a replacement. Many of the other awnings out there, including the maker of my awning, are as much as three times the cost of this replacement. If value is important, this awning is a great value.Installation was straightforward. Generic directions were included with the awning, but finding a video online helped me breeze through the installation process. The hardest part was removing the old awning because it had gotten so stiff and brittle over time. Once removed, the new awning slid right onto the track and roller. I had to cut off part of the pulls as they were too long for my roller, but I did that prior to installation as I noted the differences between my old awning and new.The awning come rolled and folded and mine was shipped in a three foot box. In the pictures, you will note all the creases from shipment. However, in just a short time these started getting pulled flat. I expect a few trips should make any of these folds negligible. There are some slight differences in manufacturing from my original awning. The seams on my original awning were surged while these seams on this awning are simply folded and sewn straight. Another difference is my original awning had a non-sewn pull for the awing side of the roller, while both the awning and valance sides of the roller on this awning are sewn.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this awning as a replacement.

Nice replacement awning. The fabric seems durable and the colors were pleasing. I had never done a replacement but watched a couple of videos on YouTube. They offered a very good idea of how to accomplish this. The fabric came with installation instructions but being a male I did not look at them until we were finished.I decided to use the method where the drum is removed totally from the camper and one end cap os removed out to allow the old material to slide out and the new slide in. I had the needed rivets and rivet gun on hand. My wife and I handled the install in an hour and 20 minutes using two ladders and a few hand tools. Used an ice pick as the pin to retain the spring tension on the end we didn't uncap. I did not use any silicone spray and had no problem.One thing the instructions did suggest and I hadn't done was to leave the plastic protective sleeve on the rolled awning material and just slid it back as it is slid into the channel. This would have made it easier to handle by not allowing it to unroll and kept it cleaner when it drags across the ground.So, if you are a little handy with tools AND have a helper this not a bad project at all and the awning seems well worth the cost.

This takes some effort to install. I watched a few videos as others suggested and well worth the time to do that. I changed it by myself as seen on one shade pro video who was doing it by themselves. Looks nice. I bought the DUNE color and the color is not brilliant but a muted sandy reddish brown and the color only comes up about half way on the awning. I was going to get the grey but projected shipping time too long; this one was projected to be about a week but CAME IN 3 DAYS!

We were happy to find this awning! We measured as indicated, and the fit was just right. Installing is a 2-3 person job, but went ok with the help of YouTube. The fabric is a nice color and thickness. We are pleased and would buy again! Pic is a little skewed since it's wide angle.

I own a rental company and often have to replace the fabrics on my awnings to give the RV a fresher look as well as to replace damaged awnings. I've used OEM fabrics in the past because I was wary of aftermarket fabrics. I decided to try one of these because the price was so reasonable and was pleasantly surprised! The fabrics are good quality, nice colors and fit perfectly. Install can be a little tricky but if you take your time, one person can do it with help from a second person to help with removing the awning from the RV and re installation. Overall very pleased and just ordered another one for my bigger RV to freshen up it's looks. Great overall product!

What can I say. I ordered it and I replaced the old tired awning. The new one worked perfectly. A bit of a challenge to replace but it can be done with basic mechanical skills. Check out YouTube video's on how to do it yourself. I used the shortcut one where you drill out and grind an additional hole to keep from completely disassembling the awning support and roller. Worked perfectly and saved a ton of time. Just follow along and do what it say's and you can save some cash and do it yourself!Good quality product!!

Bonne qualité et grandeur parfaite pour remplacer notre auvent de 16'. Mais pour l'installer prévoyez être minimum 3 personnes. Ça nous à pris environ 3/4 heure à 1 heure. A installer idéalement à une température chaude afin que la toile soit moins raide et plus malléable. La couleur est un peu plus pâle que voulu mais vaut la peine pour le prix.

I installed this replacement awning on 1996 Gulf Stream Yellowstone Capri with a Carefree of Colorado original. The corded ends were very tight to fit into the top receiver slot on the rv and the 2 slots of the roller tube. This was even after using a wire brush to clean the grooves and using a lubricant spray. Definitely required 2 people to work it into the slots without tearing the fabric. It seemed like the grooves were slightly smaller than this awning was meant for. We got in though and the finished result is excellent. Very happy with it.

This awning seems to be a quality product and was easy to install. Took us about 2.5 hours to put it on and that's not bad for a 21 foot awning that's 11 feet off the ground!! Got another awning coming for our son's little trailer and it should be a piece of cake as it is only an 11 foot awning about 8 feet off the ground. So far quite happy with this, just have to see how durable it is.

ordered online, did my measurements and it arrived quickly, excellent quality, we ended up following youtube videos for installation, the instructions that came with would have been better if there was some images or pictures, all told it took about 2 hrs to remove old one and replace new one, works great, very happy with the product

I bought this awning thinking it would be a lower quality but it wasn't. It was fairly easy to install but it took three people to do. This was our first one and if I ever had to do it again I think it would be a lot easier. All I will say about the installation is to get that track that the awning slides into VERY clean.
