Do you need to or is it better to, apply a vinyl design before or after using the dip

If you are using the vinyl as a stencil, apply it to the glass and then use the dip. When you peel it off, you'll have a design of shiny unetched glass on the etched surface. If you are using the vinyl as a permanent decal, put it on after dipping your project.
