2K EPOXY RUST-CURE PRIMER (USC-3680032)

Excellent primer. Great adhesion to difficult surfaces like aluminum. You must follow the directions closely. Prep carefully. Spray in cool to moderate weather only, not on hot days in the sun. Shake it, shake it, and shake it some more.

So sad to have to leave one star because the PRODUCT is awesome...the spray can is the pits. I like the adjustable top concept...but it does no good if every 15 seconds it clogs, drops of paint shooting on my perfectly prepared surface..mist then stream...UGGG.The 2k primer is awesome as I say and when I used the grey, no issues. I switched to the beige and YUCK. I have their 2K clear which I have used and have two cans on deck now. If they do what this primer can did I will be PISSED. Primer is forgiving since you sand after ....Clearcoat is NOT

Took two cans to put two coats on a 71 Javelin trunk lid. Thought the coverage would be better.

The stuff is amazing. Adhesion and coverage are great. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the can should be twice the size. I bought one can to spray a tailgate and it ran out before I got one complete coat. Partly my fault I guess. For the money I would probably just buy a quart of spray gun epoxy primer next time. But this stuff did do as designed I suppose. Good product if you have small parts to do

I bought 2K Primer to primer my rain channels on my Jeep Cherokee & Honda Odyssey before I used the 3M self leveling seam sealer.Worked great. Once activated , you need to use up the can within 48 hours, so I did both cars at once.I wire brushed the old paint and rust off first, Then cleaned it very well and made sure it was dry. Do not stop there or it will rust again. Then sprayed it. Bond very well to both the car & the Seam sealer.Decent price for under $25. Probably because it is BEIGE COLOR!!!!

Product acted like an empty can from the beginning. Even holding upright , I had to constantly shake can to get it to spray. Followed instructions. At first I thought can wasn’t upright enough so I held parts straight up. Paint came in spurts even when shaking constantly. It didn’t splatter though so there is that. understand why paint isn’t refundable but I would have done just as well flushing my money down the toilet. For comparison, the Eastwood brand worked flawlessly.

Malfunctioning cheaply made spray head. No written instructions on the can. Only a few pictures. No description of drying times or application conditions necessary for a good bond. If you buy this you'll need to check the data sheets on the manufacturers website. The rest of the can is covered with multiple redundant hazard warnings in many languages. Shook the can for two minutes. Injected the second part to the epoxy. Shook again for two minutes. Spray nozzle clogged after 15 seconds of spraying. Cleaned it with paint thinner, & it clogged again after 15 seconds of spray. At the end of each spray cycle the spray head would start spitting out globs of primer. The globs of primer then had to be sanded off. The clogging spray head problem went on and on and on. Once applied, the paint was not dry after 1/2 an hour with the temperature at 79 degrees and low humidity. Makes me wonder if the two part system was working. For as expensive a product as this is, I expected much better. On the upside, the seller was kind enough to refund the purchase price.

Just wow. An actual two part epoxy clear coat in a can. Great super high gloss clear. Is the same product used by professionals. Spray tip is amazing and dries quickly. One thing, because it is a two part epoxy paint it contains dangerous chemicals. You must use a respirator!!! And don't paint in a living area. Overspray dust dissipates quickly and within 30 mins you can allow fresh air into the area.
