Feraghan/New City Contemporary Modern Floral Flowers Area Rug, 4' x 6', Brown/Beige

Edit: we have had this rug for 5 years.I’m planning to replace it at this point. It’s looking a bit sad and I’m ready for a new style. But I’ll tell ya, it’s never shed one fiber and it’s not held one single stain. I’ve spilled red wine, dogs have barfed and peed, kids have spilled untold amounts of things on it. If you’re thinking of getting it, do it. No regrets!!———Its time I review this rug. Owned for 2 years. Honestly, I bought it because it was the BIGGEST (13x16ft) rug I could find and the CHEAPEST way to protect my wood floors! I would buy it again in a heartbeat. We have it in our main living room where all family activity is going on. We have kids (age 9 and 12) that are homeschooled, so they are here all day, every day. Kids have spilled everything from chocolate milk to juice on it and its come out perfectly, without effort. We also have two great danes. They run and roll and scratch at this rug and its still good as new. Not a single fiber has come out. I vacuum daily. Only advice I'd give a buyer is to get a carpet pad for under it. We have a pad under it...without that pad it would be very hard. The pile is very short, but its really soft to the touch.

I've got a dog that goes bananas if anyone but me approaches the house, aka, he pitches a fit if a delivery person leaves something at my front door while I'm at work. So much so that he's been scratching the floor up. Luckily pretty superficial, but I wanted something to cover his usual "stand and go nuts" spot. I have this same design as an area rug, so I figured it was kismet. And I still love the design, but it's been well over a week and the rug is still not lying flat. Points off for that. Points on for cats loving a fresh carpet to roll around on.

Wowee zowee is this rug elegant, soft, and sumptuous. For a rug at this price point, it sure does look like a higher quality piece and boy does it feel like one too. As other reviewers have said, this rug is soft to the touch and feels wonderful to walk on with bare feet.The colors are true to the photographs. It works perfectly with our decor--it sits under a wood dining room table with purple-colored fabric chairs. The chairs stand out in the space yet everything in the dining area coordinates well with the rug. I've uploaded a photo in case it's helpful for you as you consider how the rug might coordinate with your own decor.Oh, and we did buy a rug pad along with this but found that we did not need one as the rug stays in place on its own just fine. That said, it is sitting under a dining room table and a few large, potted plants, so it's possible that it's being held in place by the items atop it.It's a lovely piece for a reasonable price.

I've had this rug now for about a year and a half. I purchased it to use under my dining room table. When I received it I was disappointed because it was not a thick rug like the ones I am used to. I decided to keep it for a day or two to see if it grew on me. Sure enough after a couple of days and the rug settling I decided to keep it. As with anything you get what you pay for. This rug is a fantastic buy at this price. I went ahead and bought two smaller matching rugs to put in front of my sink and stove. Ultimately I decide that if it lasted me a year or two it was worth every penny. After walking on it regularly, since January 2015, I have a feeling I will have it for many, many more years to come. Even having two young boys these rugs still look brand new. I'm very happy with my purchase.

PROS:Nice colors.Neat design.Goes well with any decor.Tightly woven.Soft to the touch.CONS:Not "thick/lush" like others are raving. It's thickness is like that of a medium-to-low-end rug. Not "thick" by any means. Soft, yes, but not a 'padded-feeling'.Doesn't lay flat. I am trying to be positive and hopeful based on the questions answered on this product. It has been over a week and I am losing patience. Before the excitement of the design outweighed the waiting for it to lay flat. Now the annoyance of the rug not laying flat is outweighing the design. About ready to pack it up and return it.I bought because the design was 'different' than what I would normally buy and the price got my attention. The 80 list price and the 22ish actual price. I read the rave reviews and got sucked in. If you think this is too good to be true, you are right. You get what you pay for. It is certainly a nice rug for 22 if you like a rippled rug. I feel sorry for the folks who pay more than 22 for it.

This is an incredible price. It feels wonderful underfoot. Does not appear to be a piece of carp - you know what I mean. Well constructed, solid piece, doesn't look like it's going to fall apart in a year or less. But I will agree with other reviewers that it looks somewhat different from the pics - the background is much more oatmeal than off-white, and the pretty mandala like patterns are more faded in color and less distinctly marked. Still, for the price, I'd fill my house with these. They don't show the dirt or passive-aggressive cat gift much, and they are half wool (quality), but nice and soft on bare feet. Even my husband who is the thrifty type ("I buy new underwear every 10 years whether I need it or not")has been very impressed with the quality and the price.

When I ordered this rug it was to replace a woven grass rug that I had in my living room. The old one was in fairly good condition but just didn't feel good under your bare feet. I ordered this rug thinking it looked like a good deal. It arrived yesterday, which was about a week faster than I thought. It was wrapped in medium density plastic which kept it well protected in transit. This rug is so much nicer than I was expecting. The pictures don't do it justice. It has a nice medium pile and it's really soft. Also, the colors are much better in person. Really happy with the purchase, and if I find myself looking for another rug I'll be looking for this brand specifically.
