We pioneered the use of nylon in holsters more than 20 years ago and truly revolutionized the industry. Through countless days in the field – with hunters, law-enforcement agencies and the military – this incredibly tough, tightly woven material has proven itself up to the test.

Size 3 fit my Taurus 357 mag
My wife used this to meet the draw requirements for her CWP using a Taurus 357 mag. The fit seemed just right on a size 3 with the strap having just a little bit left to let out. Holstering and drawing was certainly not the smoothest motion and for my wife often required two hands (one for the gun and one for the holster) but at this price it was well worth it's money considering I had no plans to carry this gun holstered in the future. The belt loop strap style mounting is pretty straight forward. It secures the firearm just enough that you don't feel like it's flopping around when used with a good rigid belt. If you are looking to have your firearm glued to your leg however you should be looking elsewhere. That's not the intent of this holster. The strap is... well... It's a strap with a snap. Don't expect much out of it. It's OK for general securing of your firearm under light conditions but certainly not something I would count on if I were planning on wearing this holster for say a day hike or any other activity that could result in incidental bumping of the strap. I also found it difficult to snap when my Taurus was holstered. This was because the position of the snap was just in front of the trigger guard which meant there was nothing solid behind it for me to leverage against. This meant almost always using two hands to snap it closed. My wife didn't even bother with it after multiple failed attempts. On the bright side I would say it is a tighter fit than say the snap on your jeans so also takes a little bit more effort to open.If you need a budget holster and are not worried about fast draws or ultra secure holstering then I definitely recommend Uncle Mikes Nylon Sidekick Hip Holster.

Black kodra nylon sidekick hip holster (Size 9,Left-hand)
Bought this for my six inch, heritage arms rough rider .22 revolver. It fits like a Glove and stays tight to my side.Has a very smooth draw and reholster and looks nice. After Talking with a few people and gun shop owners, They told me to get a size bigger then needed and they where right. I tryed a 8 at a shop and it was a little small, and was more money then the size 9. Also This product is 20 bucks from uncle mikes online store, and I got it for 15 with shipping. At frist I thought they might be knock offs and was worried. But once it arived it was 100% a uncle mikes.Took A long time to get here tho, I ordered it on the 8th, and did not get it untill 24th! it was the slowist order of my life.after the 7 day hold I contacted them and asked why my product was not shipped. They said they where on a backorder and they where sorry and blah blah blah, and they where sorry and I was going to be the first one to be shipped out when the backorder was filled.I waited a few day and contacted them asking for a discount or something for my time. They upgraded my shipping for free that got it to me a few day sooner that was cool. all in all if you do not mind waiting a few weeks for it to be shipped out, then you can not go wrong with this.Or just give up the other five bucks and buy it at the store if you can find it.

Very good value, poor fit for a Super Comanche 10" (single shot 45lc/410).
For the price, very nicely constructed. Not sure what size 11 is really designed for--it's very narrow (not as pictured on Amazon) so think that, on a big revolver, the cylinder must sit well outside the holster? I was hoping it would fit a "Super Comanche" single shot 45lc/410 break-action pistol, 10" barrel. It sorta fits, but not great. The holster is really tight to fit the barrel with its stock and big blade front sight, and holster has several extra inches of length. Closed at the end. This might break-in to fit a bit better. The retention strap has a lot of adjustment to it. Obviously not a listed fitment, but somewhere I read that it was a reasonable option (not many stock options for this pistol).Slots for a belt, not snap on/off. A small webbing loop at the tip of the holster so you could tie something around it to hold it to your leg, in a conventional hip position.Material is sturdy feeling without feeling rough and unpleasant, much nicer than I expected.

Size 19 LH: Good Enough
This is an Uncle Mike's holster. It's not high speed, low drag, operator's tactical loadout, Rambo, quick draw, SWAT kit. It's a relatively generic, inexpensive holster to fit a variety of firearms. If you're getting this for every day carry, it might not be the best for a situation like that. I first ordered the Size 19 Left Hand for my Taurus Judge with a 3" chamber 6.5" barrel. It was a little too small and didn't cover the trigger, though the snap does keep the hammer back. I ordered the Size 4 Left Hand and hopefully that works a little better. I just needed a simple holster for a trail gun so I can use my judge to take out snakes when I'm out hunting. For the price, it is good quality as long as you know what you're getting. There was a little confusion in the lead time but when addressed it was very quickly and professionally resolved.

Here's why righties might want a left hand holster to wear butt forward
For what it is -- a very inexpensive, simple, nylon holster -- it is an excellent value. Well built. Retains the revolver well. Weather proof, and virtually indestructible with normal use.BTW ... a tip for those who own long barreled handguns. Taking a page out of history, you will note that many cavalry and infantry troops during the War Between the States wore their (by today's standards) long barreled handguns on the strong side hip, butt-forward. A practice that lasted well into the early 20th century. I bought this left handed holster (I am right handed) for my 7 1/2" barrel Ruger Redhawk. Carrying it butt forward makes it easier to draw straight up out of the holster. Once the long barrel has cleared the holster, a simple turn of the wrist puts you in the muzzle down close retention position. Drawing a long-barrel pistol from the hip in the traditional manner often puts your wrist in a very uncomfortable position near the top of the draw stroke, or is an impossible maneuver while mounted; or in any position if you have short arms.

Does what it is supposed to do.
Works as advertised although I was slightly mislead by the photo. The holster that arrived was much shorter than the one shown but I am very happy with it.

Price was reasonable and quality was satisfactory, however, holster is tight for specified pistol and it needs to be known that a belt no wider than 1.5inches or 38mm will work with this product. The product seller delivered on time.

Excellent. If you're looking for a holster for the ASG DW 4" pellet gun, this is it
A little on the tight side for my ASG Dan Wesson 715 4" barrel revolver, but it will, I'm sure, Loosen over the coming days. The holster build quality is exceptional when one considers the price and, although it will never stand up to wear and tear like a leather one, it's a fraction of the price. I can see this lasting though as it's well made and is well lined to protect the gun. Like other reviewers, I found the snap to be a little awkward, I soon got used to it and can now snap/unsnap the clasp quickly.Very impressed and am glad to give the 5 star rating. If I were to have a suggestion for the future of these holsters, that's to bring out ones with a thumb release snap. I'd willingly pay a little more for that!!
