Aesthetically, I prefer having black cotton swabs, and used to need to go to or special-order them from Muji, but thrilled that I've been able to purchase an Amazon dupe for the last several years. They have tiny ridges, which give the swab some shaping beyond "swab bulb". The swabs are very firm and they don't pop off the swab stem, and aren't too linty. The black color doesn't transfer onto anything. I recommend them if you're looking for basic black cotton swabs!

I came upon these swabs almost by accident. I first purchased them for the round plastic container which is small enough to fit in the medicine chest. What I discovered is these swabs are tightly wound on both ends, which is super helpful for touching up mascara mistakes around the eyes without getting fuzz stuck to my eyelashes. I've purchased two of these so far and use them exclusively for makeup. I still use the "usual" brand for other personal care needs. Recommend.

for the most part these cotton swabs are of good quality and are durable. A few of them came a little loose but these work like your standard cotton swabs and look very neutral and aesthetic on your dresser or vanity with your beauty products.

We used to all be fine with white cotton swabs. One day, my then-fiancé and I purchased black cotton swabs while visiting Japantown in California, USA. They were a novelty, just a different color, just for fun- not a big deal ... Until we started to appreciate the different ends; very neat. The black cotton making it easy to see if you picked up what you meant to pick up. The smaller end being firm and less likely to lose fibers. The tube was less likely to break or snap somehow. ... When we got home from vacation, the white cotton swabs just weren't a powerful. We couldn't keep using them. Luckily, Amazon sells the black cotton swabs so we never have to go back to white cotton swabs. And now we feel like we're better than everyone else because our cotton swabs are better than the normal cotton swabs. So. Buy at your own risk.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A good quality product, nice color

I gave this product a five star because we order these all the time. Only problem is. I always order a two count of quantity when I order. And this is the first time it has happen I only received one container. Not sure where it went wrong. But would like my other one please.
