Beautiful Piece. Love the Way it looks on my Bed.
I absolutely love this item. Beautiful colors of Blue and looks beautiful on my bed. The quality is exceptional. I have washed this several times already and it holds up perfectly and keeps it shape very well. It is not too heavy the weight is perfect. Worth the price for such great quality!

Laura Ashley still a great brand!
Fits nicely on a queen-size bed with an 11-inch mattress. Large enough that if it shrinks a little when washed it will be fine. Lightweight and perfect for summer, but still keeping me warm on chilly late summer and early fall nights in the mountains. I think it might even get me through a good part of the winter. Quilt is reversible with intricate quilting on both sides. Doesn't slide off the bed like some lower-quality quilts often do. Quilt is reversible so you can periodically change up the look. Tops of the pillow shams are the same double-sided quality as the quilt. You can reverse the shams, but the back side shows the wrong side of the fabric, which you really can't see, and you lose the nice edge. Doesn't look horrible and adds a bit of variety. High quality that you expect from the Laura Ashley line.

Great Traditional Look, but Works w/Any Decor
I purchased this quilt set in blue for my own bed, but ended up using it in a downstairs guest room that my husband has been using during his recovery from knee replacement surgery. So I decided to buy another now that I need something more summery for my King size bed. It's quite well made and looks good anywhere, since the design isn't too feminine. I've had numerous Laura Ashley bedding sets over the years, because they suit my taste (colonial/federal period) and hold up to wear for a long time. Depending on how many kids are around, five years has been the average time before I just wanted something new and fresh. And I always find myself going back to Laura Ashley.I've also had several LA comforter sets, but got tired of the expense of having to send them out (even my extra-large capacity front loader is too small for a King (which I also use on my Queen size beds), since the comforters are always REALLY poufy. But the quilts lack the bulk, so I can easily do them at home, saving almost $100 every time they need washing. The quilts have a slightly different look, which seems less modern, so they work well for me.As a dog rescue person, mostly "German Shedders," I also like that the intricate patterns and the colors don't show the dog hair too much. One of my personal dogs is a big, lovable Bloodhound, and despite their smooth-appearing coat, it's also a very heavy double coat that sheds constantly. But the shortish red hair just fades into the background! Of course, due to hair as well as LOTS of slobber, anyone terribly house-proud shouldn't have either of these breeds (unless they have full-time help)!Highly recommend this and all Laura Ashley products.

Average comforter for the price!
Overall, this is a nice-looking comforter that is just as cute in person as advertised! I’ll start off with the problems, but keep in mind that I do really like this comforter. The main issue I have with this comforter is with the quality. I was willing to pay a bit more for a nice quality comforter. The material has a cheap feel, and is not the most comfortable. It could definitely be worse, but I was slightly disappointed in this aspect. I’d be happy to have this comforter in a guest room, but personally for my bed, I’d want to sleep under something a bit softer and more high-quality feeling. Also, there are several loose threads in the pillow stitching and the main comforter stitching. All this being said, I love the style, especially on inside of the comforter. The base color is a true white, not cream, so keep that in mind from a design perspective. The pattern is timeless, and I love the coffee brown florals. I’ve used this comforter for the past few nights, and I think it’s nice and light. I like to use a heavy down comforter for the weight, and this bedding is not too warm, which I love. I can comfortably use the down comforter on top sleeping at 70 degrees without getting too hot during the night.Overall, I would recommend this comforter, unless you take issue with loose threads or are looking for a very soft fabric.

Beautiful Quilt
Beautiful quilt. I order a king because I have an extra high queen mattress with a thick topper. After washing it shrunksome and fit perfectly. It's 100% cotton. When it comes it's in shrink wrap so it will need to be washed. The quiltingshows up more after washing. Both sides are very pretty. Laura Ashley designed and it's a very nice toile design. Recommended.
