I was searching Amazon for 2 DDR2 800MHz RAM memory cards that would fit in my desktop and one of the offers retrieved was from Komputerbay. It looked like the right cards: same type and frequency I needed. The price looked nice, too, so I decided for them. The items were shipped and received fast, no complaints about that.The issue is that the cards didn't fit in. I took them to a local service assistance where I was told that these cards work on servers not in personal computers.So, the thing is that if I, as a lay consumer, searching a product in a general retailer (Amazon is a general retailer), had more clear, easy to understand information in the product description I could have bought the right cards. I have reviewed the product description before writing this comment, and saw that there is an observation regarding they would not fit in regular DIMM slots. Nevertheless, this doesn't help much. The wording is for experts not for lay customers, unfortunately.Now I have the cards here, useless. As I am foreigner costumer, returns neither seem feasible nor practical. The advice is easy: take time to study the product before making a choice, the retailer is not really concerned about helping you on that.

I had to return this RAM because it would not install and run correctly on my mobo - I didn't think it would matter if it was buffered versus non-buffered but in my case it did - I returned it and bought the non-buffered instead. The seller ships quickly & refunded my money without any hassle. I would buy from this seller again... Good Luck! RH

Bought 8GB (2x 4GB) rams from Komputerbay through Amazon at a great price. Most other well established vendors like Crucial or Kingston, to name a few, were asking for almost twice the price that Komputerbay was selling these for. I've installed them in my G5 Mac Pro desktop a few months ago and my computer is purring along perfectly. With the added ram I have no worries of running out of memory. Man o man works good on the Gound and in Flight. Makes my Mac really purr with OS10, Parallels, Windows 7 and AutoCAD running all at the same time. These guys know there Ram. I'm keeping them in mind for my the next ram needs.

Komputerbay is doing a great job. I was happy that I could find affordable ram for my Mac Pro 3.0 Ghz Dual Quad Core. The packaging was hassle free and it was easy to install. Completely hassle free in my honest opinion, also making it available on amazon prime is also a plus. I'm completely satisfied and when I go to add more Ram in the future I'll be looking for Komputerbay.

I gave it a 5 star because its a great product. My friend got it for her computer, she got it mostly for the MMORP games. It works.I give it a 3 star because it wasn't for my computer; i got disappointed that it didn't fit.Technically, its my fault for searching the wrong Motherboard. DDR2 PC2 6400F was not the right fit.But definitely a 5 star.

I needed to update the minimal ram in my Mac Pro and this has worked perfectly and really increased the speed on my old machine. Considering adding another 8GB in the future.

I purchased this RAM for a 2008 Apple XServe 2.1 that had only 2 Gig RAM previously. I found few retailers online that carried this exact type of RAM, including a reseller on Ebay that claimed they were Macintosh certified. I am about to purchase another 8 Gig set, as the current RAM is running strong.
