Great if you love spice
I recently tried a drink and the spice was the perfect amount- I asked what was used and found it on Amazon. This is a great spice. Not a lot is needed. I made the mistake of a few too many shakes and the spice was too much for me. But this just adds to the value.

When the Jalapeño Margarita Mixers Fall Short…
…get Scrappy’s. Just received my fourth (?) order of this delightful jolt of spicy goodness today. I spent $13 on a new spicy margarita mixer when I was at Total Wine the other day. I checked the reviews online and the first few I scanned said it was great and spicy. Um….I am an Irish-American from Boston (though one who’s been obsessed with a spicy marg since 2012 when I first had one at Watertown’s now-defunct La Casa de Pedro and that mix isn’t spicy. In fact, I’ve had to add Scrappy’s to each margarita I’ve made to get it to be spicy.Scrappy’s is fantastic in a margarita, but also works well in some limeade and seltzer for an NA weeknight substitute.I’ve tried other purported “spicy” bitters (I’m looking at you, Hella) and nothing hits the mark like Scrappy’s.

Spicy Ranch Water - Key Addition
What an amazing concoction - add it to a good homemade agave/lime/tequila margarita and you suddenly have a SPICY marg w/ no muddling or fresh jalapenos required. Just do a couple of drops and you're good.Spicy Ranch Water Recipe:2 drops of these Scrappy’s Bitters60gm (2oz) quality blanco tequila (I use Don Julio)7gm (1/4oz) simple syrup (50/50 water and sugar)30gm (1oz) lime juice160g (6oz) Cold Sparkling WaterPut it together in that order and add ice and drink. Delicious.

The BEST!
The versatile nature of this tincture cannot be overstated. I realize some people can’t have alcohol for various reasons, but if you are someone who is just cutting back…then know that 2 tiny drops will give your drink the boost you’re looking for. I’m making a lot of zero proof cocktails at the moment, and the “clean” heat of Firewater gives me just what I’m looking for. It provides the alcohol “burn” and can be used in just about anything without altering the flavor.

Spicy
You need to use a lot more to make it spicy in a cocktail. It's just spicy though; there's no other flavor so I feel it could be better.
