Product Description Learn to give a wonderful foot and hand massage incorporating Reflexology! This informative video covers 8 lessons. Lesson 1: History of Reflexology Lesson 2: Working the 10 foot zones Lesson 3: Working the organ reflexes Lesson 4: Working the gland reflexes Lesson 5: General foot massage Lesson 6: Working the 10 hand zones Lesson 7: Working the organ reflexes on the hands Lesson 8: Working the gland reflexes on the hands Review It is a pleasure to view this video. As I have come to expect with Sean Riehl's videos, the production quality is superb. The pictures are sharp, the script is tight, the lighting is on the money, and music is serene. I must make a special note of the high quality graphics, which make an important contribution to the usability of this video. The camera is positioned so that the viewer can clearly observe the techniques presented, unlike some other reflexology videos I have seen where the practitioner's hands are blocked. This video covers a lot of material in a short time and while it discusses the basic fundamentals of Reflexology it cannot possibly deal with the entire topic. If you have never had any exposure to Reflexology then this video will help you incorporate Reflexology in your massage work... While you will not be able to call yourself a Reflexologist after viewing this video, you will certainly get a good introduction to Reflexology and will be able to incorporate many basic Reflexology techniques into your massage session. I found that this video is an excellent value for the money. 9 out of 10 --Massage Today P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); About the Actor Taught by Geri Riehl, co-founder of Real Bodywork. Basic information on Reflexology.

Very Basic
As a massage therapist, I was looking for something more in-depth than this video. It is definately for the beginner, and gives info only on the bottom of the foot (the organs and glands) and the hands. It shows nothing about the top of the foot or ankle and what that corresponds to, and only once gives any warning about working certain areas of the feet.

Don't bother
This company normally puts out excellent videos, this one is a disappointment. As a student of massage therapy I thought this would be a helpful addition to my routine, but the instructor in the film is very vague, no actual zones are given, and it just generally seems like a waste of time.

For use on family and friends not for LMT's.
The DVD begins with Geri Riehl explaining that this is not meant for LMT's - take a CEU course. It is simply for family and friends. This should have been in the product description. Definitely not professional techniques.

Too Basic
I found this video to be too basic to serve the needs of the professional massage therapist. I recommend instead A Complete Guide to Practical Reflexology by Melva Martin, N.D., M.Ed which provides a comprehensive tutorial on the principles of reflexology, and superb instruction on treatment technique.
