I was looking for a present for my wife and this one is perfect she has always wanted this one.

Cute but dangerous
My kids received the football popper as a gift and were excited to try it out. The unit caught fire the very first use. We used the recommended amount of popping kernels, yet the popped popcorn managed to become bound up in the discharge chute preventing the expulsion of the remaining un-popped kernels. From there it overheated and combusted filling the house with smoke. There is obviously no thermal overload protection on the unit. Use with extreme caution.

Good as a Sports Room Trophy, Little More
It's cute but it won't pop. I used homegrown popcorn (which might have a tougher hull than commercial grade popcorn, I'm not sure). Anyway, it burned the kernels rather than popping them. The resulting popped corn That DIDN'T burn tasted burned. Stick to regular air-poppers.

Was given this as a gift and unfortunately cannot return it. I have tried several kinds of popcorn, even the delicate ladyfinger type and it won't pop anything!!! Bounce this popper out of the court. I had no option to give it no stars or I would have.
