This book provides insight from individuals living as adults with disabilities. As I read this book, I realized that each individual views his/her situation from a very personal vantage point. As a provider in the developmental disabilities field, I found this book to be very important reading and I appreciate the authors sharing their very personal experiences so we can better understand their challenges.
