But this for 10-year-old granddaughter birthday June 13. The first week she used it for school in August the top material loop ripped out unable to fix it, now has become a waste of money.

Very stylish and sassy. I originally purchased for my granddaughter, decided to keep this one, and I will buy her another one. It’s just that cute.

I bought this for my 6yr old granddaughter who is going into first grade starting tomorrow. It was used once, was not overloaded and the zipper pulled away from both the inside lining and the sequined outside. Needless to say, one heartbroken little 6 year old. It was not abused or misused and was packed by a parent the one time used. As much as I would have loved to return it, she so wanted to have it for school tomorrow because it is "so beautiful". So, I got got my needle and thread and repaired it to the best of my ability. Regardless of how I sewed it, I can guarantee that I did a better job than the person or machine that originally sewed it. Do I think it will hold up? I would imagine the part I sewed will. The rest of the backpack? I strongly doubt it. For such an expensive backpack, it was definitely not worth the amount paid.

My granddaughter loves the look of the backpack. However, 6 weeks after school started, the strap came away from the backpack. She doesn’t carry anything but a folder and a notebook so it is cheaply constructed.I would not recommend this item.

This is exactly what my 7yr old daughter wanted, and it's pretty cute with the bright colors and flippable sequins. However, it's quite small. The pockets on the sides will barely hold a small bottled water (definitely not her small thermos). The main pocket will hold one 2" in binder and 2 notebooks and nothing more.Within two weeks, 3 zipper tabs fell/ripped off. The straps are adjustable, but they don't hold their adjustments for more than a minute of her wearing the backpack. Also, it's starting to fray around the zipper.

Backpack is ok quality wise. Sequins stay on well, color is nice, however the zipper is very cheap and is tough to zip and the straps are cheap and thin.The bag is a lot smaller in person than in the photos and the measurements are a bit off. Doesn’t fit a standard folder easily. DO NOT use for a school backpack for a child.

My daughter says she likes best that the sequins flip and she likes least that the side pockets do not stretch or flex at all making it impossible to put in a normal water bottle. She also likes that it is very spacious with pockets for her to put toys in to play with on the bus.On the adult side I like that it is very sturdily constructed with well-made durable zippers. The straps are a fake polished leather-like material that is much more comfortable than the normal nylon in most backpacks. This is definitely one of the best deals we have found on Amazon and are very satisfied! I'm even hopeful this backpack will last longer than the three months average every other backpack I have bought lasts.
