The stick is about 3/8” (ridged for a better grip) and the knob at the end is approx 1-1/4”

If your "clear" umbrella came covered in white powdery irregular splotches, did you get the splotches off? I used dry & damp microfiber. No luck.

My umbrella was perfectly clear when it arrived. However, it became very cloudy after only a few uses, despite leaving it open to dry each time. Turns out the cloudiness is on the INSIDE - it rubs off with my finger, but will be a pain to clean and I have put it off. Don’t know if the film will continue to form.
