Great, robust air curtain with door switch.
This unit is part of our fight with bugs, especially mosquitoes. Where we live mosquitoes intrude into our home and brutalize my family. We use a combination of bed nets, electric bug traps, and now this beauty of an air curtain. Currently we have it over our garage door and linked with the included door switch and it works incredibly well. Even on the low setting (2 settings, Hi and Low), the air flow is great. But there are some things to consider. This is not a whisper quiet unit and even on low you can hear it doing its work. Also with the door switch there is a slight delay in activation so in areas with lots of insects a slow first pull to activate the unit helps before opening the door fully. Finally, not all doorways are amenable to installation of this unit. Our front door is very high and has a narrow space upon which the metal brace/foundation has be affixed, but I have not found a way to do this yet. Further because the front door swings inward the included door switch will not work without additional parts. I would love to get another unit over my front door, so if the sellers can include those parts or at least point to where they can be obtained easily, that would help get more units sold and installed! I would still have to solve the issue of the narrow top of our tall front door though ...

Works perfect love it for the flies (live near dairy)
The media could not be loaded. Hung over a 36” model door. Turns on and off automatically or you can choose to not use mag switch and control only when you want it on with rocker switch. A little noisy but this volume of airflow will always make noise. Has two speeds to set switch for automatic or manual at high or low speed on the rocker. Huge difference in temperature if you stand in doorway can feel different temps from either side of the doorway. Plus works awesome to cool down a bit when you come in from long day of work in hot sun.

Good unit, possibly too powerful for a smaller space
The unit was well packaged, arrived very quickly and was easy to install. It seems to make a difference in keeping most of the room warmer except for the area right across from it - which seems to get a draft of cold air several seconds after the "whoosh" of air stops, and that was the area we were largely concerned about. We don't think it's a reflection on the effectiveness of the unit but we think it's just because it's a smaller space - and with the problem of having a cold spot directly across from the door - perhaps the unit is actually a bit too powerful for the space. We're keeping it because we believe it will help a great deal keeping the heat and bugs out in the summer (our office is on a farm). Just a heads-up if you have a smaller or narrow space, this might not be the perfect solution if you're trying to keep cold out directly across from the door, although it will help with the rest of the room.

If you have a bar or tavern with a heat issue from doors being opened and closed all night, this is for you!
Amazing difference in my Bar/Restaurant. It is quickly becoming a hot one in Alabama. During the Winter (fall anywhere else) my AC system was fine, even in a packed house we got up to the most 79 degrees by the end of a night in extreme conditions. Starting at 72 degrees at beginning of night. Two Saturdays ago it became hot outside, we went from 72 degrees to 88 by the end of the night, it was cooler outside at 78 degrees. This past weekend it was going to be 90 outside and it was, but I ordered two Awoco 1200 CFM Door curtains, one for the front and back door. We installed them both in about 2 hours, one attached to security bars, one attached to concrete block, no issues at all. The weekend came with its 90 degree weather. We went from 72degrees to 75degrees at end of night. Saturday was even busier and about 92 outside. We went from 73degrees to 77degrees that night. These things work! It saved my business. I would have lost customers and sales but my customers stayed cool. These things are moderately loud but in a Bar environment they are hardly noticeable.

Works and Looks Great!!!
Great addition to my remodeled kitchen. My kitchen was being remodeled and I asked the contractor if he could install an air curtain. He told me he has done many air curtains for restaurants and commercial facilities but never home. He told it had to 36 inches to fit the door size. My wife though it wouldn't be a good idea because of the look. The Awoco 1200 air flow is strong. I keep it on low for my use. I called their support number to make sure it would work in my situation and they told me it will be fine. I just want to keep bugs out because my family is in and out the back door most of the time bringing groceries or whatever. Then they let a few flying bugs in that usually hangs around the light just outside the door in the summertime. It also helps keep the cool air inside the house in and the hot air out.My wife likes how the contractor integrated the Awoco 1200 with cabinets that are adjacent to the air curtain. It looks great! Check out the photos!

I am very happy with my purchase.
I live in North Texas and in the summer have an issue with flies, insects, and cold air escaping when I open my back door to use my patio. I installed this Air Curtain a week or two ago and it is helping big time. The number of flies and other flying insects getting in my home has been dramatically reduced as it the cold air escaping. It does make noise a little noise but well worth the trade off.Additionally I bought it "Slightly used" for $200 instead of $280 and as it came in the original box and everything was still wrapped in plastic. I suspect it might have simply been a return that was never opened. My wife and I use our patio and backyard space everyday and I feel this is helping me win the war on insects, flies, and cold air loss. I am sure the same will be true in the winter when it help keep the cold air out.

I bought one two years ago from this company and it worked great and is still working great I bought another one for an additional door and it doesn’t blow hard enough to keep any flies out when I contacted the company, they said they turn down the intensity of the blower so they don’t work as well anymore so overall not very good customer service not good product anymore though I still like my first one
