I got this for my toddlers who are 2 and 4. My 4 year old loves it. Her finger muscles gets stronger by pulling the rubber band. It is a great tool for OT. i wish the board is slightly bigger. Rubber bands come in different sizes and colors. I like that both my toddlers can play and learn together. The 4 year old can imitate shapes on the card. Meanwhile the 2 year old can learn names of the shapes. you can also be creative to create your own shape and build an image with more than 2 rubber band in different color. it is a great choice of an educational toy for kids. It is very easy to pack and put away, Doesn't take up much space.

This is a seriously fantastic toy. My girls are 2 and while they can’t copy the cards they like to pull them out and have me do it for them. Slowly they’re creating basic shapes like squares and triangles on their own. My 4 year prefers to create his own designs. At the moment he is learning about mirrored objects so he’s creating that on this little board. We’ve kept the box it came in so we can stay organized. It’s a special treat pulling it out and the kids have a blast playing with it. At such an affordable price it really does make me happy and I love that they’re using their fine motor skills.

Quality materials used to construct product. The rubber bands seem strong enough to be used without braking. Good for building hand strength and development of visual discrimination skills.

I got this for my niece because she’s getting so smart and artistic. I thought this would be an intellectually artistic form of development for her creativity. She really needs an outlet for that and I love how it’s temporary and that she could use it over and over to show us. She loves doing that.The wood is nicely coated and firm, there’s no way my four year old niece will break that. The edges are rounded nicely so she won’t get hurt and the little nails that form the gird are perfectly rounded so she won’t hurt herself. There’s also no way the nails are coming off. Very sturdy product.

I bought this for my 7yr old grand-daughter. It came with design cards and 2 sets of different sizes of multi colored rubber bands. There were no instructions. She said she knew what it was and how to do it. And for the most part she did. Unfortunately after after playing with it only one time it just wasn’t very fun. As a teacher I tried to make it fun and educational by having her draw a picture and then I had to follower and create it. I made her my teacher. The problem was she asked me what was the point of it? I explained how it teaches math and following directions. So we gave it to her 4 yr old sister. She found it more fun and immediately identified the shapes. She has asked a few times if I would do it with her. So I recommend it for a 3-4 yr old.Hope this helps!!

I recently bought this for my 5.5 year old son and he loves it. It comes with lots of different rubber bands and pretty wood. This activity provides him with an opportunity to fine tune his fine motor skills, executive functioning, visual motor skills, and emotional regulation. There are lots of cards to choose from to copy pictures with the rubber bands, and the freedom to create without copying an image. Very good buy for the money. Would definitely recommend!

My 5 yr old daughter loves to make diff patterns on her geo board! The board is a nice solid wood. The pegs are metal and sturdy and have lips on them so the rubberbands stay on. Not cheaply made and should last the long haul!

I will rate 5 different areas for the geoboard. 1) Great activity for children. I let my 2 and 4 year old grandchildren use it and they stayed engaged extremely for quite a while - 5 stars 2) The price for what I received was very high. I think $9.99 would be acceptable. - 3 stars 3) The board is nice and finished well. - 4 stars 4) The rubber bands are disappointing. They have 4 different colors and 2 different sizes. I wish there were more sizes and they would have been a little more sturdy. - 2 stars 5) The cards with examples to build are not very good. The shapes are random and lack creativity. Some of the shapes cannot be done since they require a larger rubber band than what is provided. - 1 star Overall, it is a great activity for children, however this geoboard is pricey and lacks quality materials.
