I, like many gluten-intolerant people, am B12-deficient. I find a marked improvement in my mood when I take these supplements. I find I am far less irritable...but don't just take my word for the benefits of B12 supplements, refer to the NIH. Note also there are links identified in the medical literature between B12-deficiency and dementia. So for me, someone who wants to avoid or delay cognitive decline, there appear to be multiple benefits to this product!I particularly like this particular formulation of B12 because the flavor is pleasant and, while not every authority agrees that taking B12 sublingually (under the tongue) is most effective, I find that it works well for me.

Same product I'm used to, but they use the same sized bottle for 40 tablets as they do for the 120, making the bottle look empty. Maybe downsize the bottle.

This was a prescribed item for me, but my health care plan pharmacy decided to substitute these for pills. It asks about how easy these are to swallow in the ratings, but the big advantage is that this form of Vit B12 is that they don't have to be swallowed. They just quickly dissolve in your mouth and have a pleasant citrus-y flavor and you can feel it start to work immediately in your system, so they really help me get up and get going. This is the exact item I was prescribed, and the price is low enough that I can just buy them for myself. When I compared the time and energy it would take to get these again from the pharmacy, it was more than worth the cost, for me. (fyi - even if I had won this battle once with the pharmacy, it would end up getting changed back again, so sometimes it's better to lose the battle in order to win the war.) Anyway I highly recommend this product. Quality ingredients and works.

As with any med or supplement, it's good if you need it, but would be a mistake to take it if you don't. Years ago, I would have died without B-12, but went to about 19 doctors, mostly neurologists, over about 5 years and never got any help. By that time, having almost lost the ability to walk, I searched online and learned that B-12 might help with symptoms like mine. I tried it and began to get better the same day. Now if anything goes wrong with my body, I go to the internet first. Doctors. if I go to them at all, are a last resort. And at this point, now in my late 80's, I have lived longer than the average American does.
