The controllers just feel very good. Build quality is great, the buttons are very responsive and nice to press, and the main problem I've always had with the gamecube was the D-pad and it feels more responsive than on my old controller. I haven't experimented with the turbo options on the controller but considering how these are at a cheaper price than just one of Nintendo's official controllers I recommend getting these as they are just as good and come with more options.

These controllers don't quite match the originals, but they are a great buy for the price! They work great.

The Gamecube controller is good for its price. Is it good as the original GC controller? No. It feels a bit different to hold and the LR button feels a bit stiff. Worth it for its price!

Before we go any further know this: If you're not using this with an actual Game Cube (ancient tech at this point), you're going to need some sort of adapter (readily available on this website for around $20). Not knowing this fact ahead of time lead to some instantaneous disappointment when these arrived. We couldn't use 'em. Boo.After purchase of an easy-to-use adapter on my favorite online shopping website, we were able to test-drive these controllers on our Nintendo Switch. Suffice to say, my son is an instant convert, instantly singing the praises of the controllers' layout, comfort, and responsiveness. (Let's face it... he's the expert.) I agreed as well. They're a huge upgrade over the included Nintendo "Joy-cons" (which are more "con" then "joy"). We put them through their paces on a few fast-paced fighting games ("Brawlhalla" and "Super Smash Bros.") and they passed with flying colors.The only thing I don't like about them is the cable length. My guess is they're about 5'. The adapter we bought adds about another 3', so we have to be sitting pretty darn close to the TV when playing. I would prefer a cable that's twice that length just for flexibility. Otherwise, these controllers are more than adequate.

For offbrand gamecube controllers, the quality doesn’t get much better than this (reminder, a GameCube controller to usb converter is required to use this product on the switch and PC). I have used both newly released GameCube controllers and the original kind. These are around the same quality as the newly released GameCube controller, but not quite as good as the original authentic GameCube controllers. The buttons are fairly fluid and do not stick and from what I have noticed there has not been any input lag. I have used both controllers on my switch and both seem to work fine (although there has been minimal use, I don’t know how these will last in upcoming month). I wouldn’t recommend these for tournament use but for friendlies and casual experiences, these are probably the best aftermarket controllers you’re going to come across.
