This critter is noisy. But you can always wrap a blanket around it to cut down on the noise. Since my wife sleeps much later than I, it is best if I find a way to muffle the thing because I use it very early in the morning.

Q: Anyone have trouble with the single serve blade buring out?

My original Ninja, bought back in 2014, was AMAZING. I put it through hell, making 2 to 3 protein shakes a day, for almost 7 YEARS straight. Finally, as you folks stated, the rubber nubs wore off, and the rubber "sealers" on top of the base, just fell out and wouldn't go back in. So, we purchased a new Ninja back in January 2020, same model. I can tell you, 100%, this is NOT the same as my old one. It might look identical, but the performance, is no where NEAR as good. Every single time I use it, it makes a burning rubber smell. I have a feeling it will not last long. The rubber sealers in the base, have already come out. Very disappointing.
