Works perfectly
After buying a TV streamer For my hearing aids I needed to be able to split the optical audio out from my TV to the streamer and my sound bar. This device works perfectly and provides one in and three out.It comes with a usb power lead and an optical cable. I have a spare usb socket on my TV and use this to power the unit but if you don't have a spare usb you will need a usb power adapter. The unit works perfectly and Audio is going to my streamer and sound bar. All audio is perfectly in sync with the screen.I went for the powered version as I have had mixed results with passive splitters in the past. The unit is very small and neat and metal cased and feels a quality item . As it a three outlet I still have a spare outlet should I ever need it. Very happy with the splitter and would definitely recommend if you need to add a streamer for hearing aids or headphones to your setup.

This is what I would call a small heavyweight , the thing was that impress me was when I opened up the box to feel the weight of this little gadget it’s solid quality they provide the power cable also a fibre optics cable to connect into it.A great product I’m very reasonable price

Punctual and good quality item.
This product proved to be the perfect solution to split a single optical out from my television, to an optical connection to a surround sound system and a wireless headphone transmitter. Works perfectly with no drop in signal strength. Fully recommend.

Great value
I`ve tried some unpowered optical splitters that didnt work at all. This one works perfectly.I have powered ceiling speakers through out my house connected to one source via optical cables, some of which are twenty meters in length, never have any drop outs.

Simple to connect and operate
Performs perfectly but the advertised feature of 'remote control' was not present since it is a full on splitter hopefully. If is is remote control, I didn't get a remote control device to work it !

Small, elegant and does the job
In the hope that my experiences might help someone else, I've gone into what I used this for in some length.I wanted to hear the audio from my Smart TV in my open-plan kitchen, which you would think would be simple enough. With my old Smart TV I used a digital to analogue converter and split the analogue signal to an amp under my TV and to some powered speakers in my kitchen, which worked OK, but I couldn't adjust the volume with a remote, which was annoying. I bought a nice Sony soundbar with the TV, but it didn't have an analogue input, and I found that splitting the optical signal between the soundbar and the converter caused an unbearable delay and echo in the kitchen. That was after I had figured out how to set the TV output to PCM to avoid the nasty noise some TV channels caused. Back to the drawing board.Next I tried using an unpowered digital optical splitter and a 10m digital optical cable connected to a cheaper soundbar in the kitchen. This didn't work, there was no audio from the soundbar at all, presumably because the signal was too degraded by the splitter and the long cable, as the splitter worked with a shorter cable, and the long cable worked without the splitter, but together, no audio. After some head-scratching and searching on-line, I bought this device which works perfectly, presumably as it is powered it boosts the signal a bit. There is a slight delay and echo, but that may be due to the 10m cable rather than the splitter and it's bearable. The splitter itself is ruggedly constructed, looks good, is very small (it tucks away out of sight behind my TV) and is simple to use.

Absolutely does the job
We needed a splitter to accommodate my wife’s hearing aid box as well as our Sonos soundbar. I bought a different box that needed to be returned as it didn’t work. By contrast this unit is solid and has a decent length of cable from the box to the TV optical audio output to allow it to lie flat. (The other one’s cable was so short that the box was dangling in mid-air which I suspect compromised the security of the connection). This unit is sturdy, well-built and - most importantly - does a great job.

Simple to use and good quality
My system includes a Samsung TV and Sonos Playbar linked with three TOSLink cables, one of which is hidden in the wall behind the TV, and the other connected to that one with wall face plates.I wanted to split the TOSLink signal to also feed into a Bluetooth transmitter, so I can listen to TV with headphones at night when my family are asleep. A passive splitter didn't work - I think there was too much signal degradation to the Sonos given that connection already uses three cables. So I bought this LiNKFOR gadget and it worked immediately. Plugged the input port of the LiNKFOR into the TV output, one output port of the LiNKFOR into the Sonos, and another output of the LiNKFOR into my Bluetooth transmitter, and it all works seamlessly.I can now mute the TV/Sonos with the remote, put on my headphones and control the volume with the controls on the side of the headphones. The LiNKFOR claims to re-time the signal. I can't qualify that but I can say that the Sonos picked up the signal and started working absolutely immediately, which shows there must be a strong and clear signal coming from it.Highly recommended.
